This review is long overdue. Aside from the amazing classes that The Get Down teaches, Brian and Jeannette are the most humble, helpful, and genuine people I've ever met. They've helped my band with flash mob dances countless times. They've had their students show up to our performances to dance, and opened up their studio to us for rehearsals several times. I'm so proud of how far they've come, and The Get Down's community is only getting bigger and stronger. My friend claimed he couldn’t dance and everyone told him he had two left feet. I told him don’t let people give you barriers, and don’t give yourself barriers. “With the proper teacher and the time put in, you can absolutely learn and get good at it.” He now surprised his wife for their wedding ceremony, and her mind was absolutely blown. With a couple of private lessons from Jeannette, he is oozing with confidence and wants to officially take classes and be a regular at The Get Down. Lastly, House is the class I’ll be attending sooner than later, though. I know Jay R is super fresh at running that class. Street Dance at its finest at The Get Down.

Been coming here 3 years, I’ve taken every class they offer. When I started I was terrified to dance in public. But their amazing staff helped me get out of my shell and now salsa dancing is my main hobby. The Get Down undoubtedly changed my life!

From the moment you step through their doors, the atmosphere is charged with positive energy and infectious vibes. As a beginner, I wasn’t sure what to expect and was a bit intimidated to learn how to move, but their instructors are unparalleled in their approach. They're not only exceptionally skilled but also incredibly patient and supportive. Every class feels like a party, making the learning process not just educational but genuinely fun. I always leave with a smile on my face and a newfound appreciation for dance. If you're on the fence about joining a dance class, take the leap with "The Get Down" - you won’t regret it!

This studio is awesome! Especially during this pandemic, they've adapted to the changes and implemented safety protocols as well as protocols for maintaining social distancing that always reflect the ever changing county ordinances. They always communicate changes, such as class being moved outdoors or canceling class due to rainy weather for the health of participants when class can't be held indoors. I have a child that attends their hip hop class, kids are provided hand sanitizer before and after class, they have their own squares marked on the ground so they know where to stay for social distancing (plenty of room to dance comfortably in) and it's a lot of fun and good excercise for kids. Coming here is the highlight of the week for my kiddo, highly recommend their classes, very safe and very clean environment.
