This was my first time visiting the Gallery. I was there attended a closing reception for Famed Musician and Artist Pete Escovido (Shelia E's Dad) for those who don't know this small man is a Giant in the Jazz World. He has played & toured with some of the Greats and is a masterful Bandleader. Well respected and Well loved. I respectfully walked over and greeted him, we was very gracious to everyone who spoke with him. His family and friends and the attendees all sang Happy Belated Birthday (July 13th) he was in Paris. The event was very entertaining and educational. The art is breathtaking and moving. The Gallery has additional artists works on display in other rooms that are worth checking out also.
Wonderful spot near the Ferry Terminal to see the work of more than 30 talented local artists. Monthly shows and special events.
