Our son has been attending Growing Tree Preschool for almost a year now, and we’re so grateful for the growth we’ve seen in him during this time. He started in the younger class, where he quickly became attached to Teacher Winnie. The transition to the next class was hard on him at first, but with the support of the teachers and the kindness of Teacher Jessie, he adjusted well and is now thriving. We’ve seen such a big change in how he feels about going to school. He used to run away when we pulled up to the building and now he runs into school with a smile on his face. It’s clear that all the teachers truly care about the students and create a warm, loving environment. Even though we don’t speak Mandarin at home, it’s been so encouraging to hear him sing songs in Mandarin. I love how much he’s learning through everyday play and activities. We also really appreciate how proactive the school is when it comes to health and safety. Knowing that our son is well cared for both emotionally and physically gives us a lot of peace of mind. The app the school uses has also been a great tool for us as parents. We love seeing the daily photo updates, and the ability to notify teachers at pickup time makes the whole process smooth and efficient. Thank you to everyone at Growing Tree for the love and care you show each and every day!
We absolutely love The Growing Tree! Our kids are always excited to go to school, and it’s clear they’re having a great time. The teachers are warm, caring, and truly adored by our children and they’ve been wonderful with us as parents too. It’s a well-run school with a thoughtful Mandarin immersion curriculum. While we’re not Chinese, we really enjoy hearing our kids pick up the language and grow more confident using it. The school is also very well kept and they have a good balance of learning and play activities for the kids. They invite parents time to time for events and observations, which we found helpful to get a glimpse of their days.
My 3.5 year old and 1 year old have both been going to Growing Tree since they were 5 months old. We have been very happy there. My children have liked all their teachers and I feel like they have all been caring and supportive. They have a lot of different age appropriate activities for the kids, and we get occasional photo updates about what they’re up to in an app. There is a nice outside play area, so the kids get to play outside daily, which is important to me. I’m also very proud of my daughter, who thanks to the bilingual nature of the school, knows many Chinese words and songs and is already loving the language.
Our son has gone to growing tree school since he was 1.5 years old. He is now 4 years old. The care and attention from the teachers has been outstanding. Teacher Cindy, Lee, Winnie and Jessie have all been so kind. Teacher Eva is great about communication with the parents and providing an update on the students. We highly recommend this school/ daycare for anyone who is seeking great childcare. The value for the care is amazing! The communication is great and they provide monthly updates to inform what the kids will be learning. We especially appreciate how the teachers take the time to greet and say goodbye to every child and parent each day. The staff works hard to keep the school clean, organized, and welcoming. The location is also a huge plus--right by the beach, making it easy to enjoy a little seaside time after pick-up.
We've been incredibly happy with Growing Tree. Our son—who’s been going for nearly two years—can’t wait to head off to school each morning. He absolutely loves his teachers and friends, and the staff are genuinely caring and consistent. I especially look forward to the photo updates, showcasing everything from science experiments and gardening to art. It’s such a clear window into his joyful learning. The bilingual environment is thoughtfully designed—small class sizes, bright spaces, and a warm, enriching atmosphere. It truly feels like a second home. I can’t wait for my daughter to enroll next!
