Recommend clay date night. It's a fun low pressure was to try something new. The team at the Hive were very helpful in guiding is through our projects and although I'm not sure what I will use my clay "ant hill" for, I would do it again.

I just finished the four week beginner wheel throwing class with Alexis and had SO much fun! I went into the class as a complete beginner, and came out of it with skills, along with a new hobby, all thanks to Alexis’s expertise and guidance. The Hive is such a special place, with amazing staff and a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to take another class!

One of the best spaces and communities you can find in St. Pete! Each and every person- both members and staff- are incredibly friendly, welcoming and supportive. They offer amazing workshops and classes for all levels. You do not need to be an experienced artist to be a part of this very special community! I’ve taken two beginners classes and made friends in both. Teachers were great! Heather is an angel on earth and indescribably wonderful in every way. She has over two decades of teaching experience and is so patient and skilled. Alexis is equally as amazing and is particularly gifted at holding space for each student and knowing how to cater to the individual. I cannot recommend them enough!

So much fun. My husband and I both enjoyed date night immensely. Even more than we thought we would! The staff is encouraging and helpful, the vibe is relaxed and accepting, and the class sizes are perfect. We will be back.
