Sensational fun for the four of us. Special mention to Sharn at the front desk who I watched show the utmost patience to help some overseas visitors who did not speak much English get in for a racing session. Amazing customer service, we will absolutely be back.
A centre in desperate need of some TLC. We visited within the last week at a time you would usually expect it to be busy (every other track in Perth Metro had no space to take our group). Our group had 6 races in total, in which Karts broke down, or stopped running, in each race. Every track I've ever raced at previously has warning lights if there's an incident on track, but this place doesn't. Although they have remote ability to slow karts, they didn't seem to use this feature anytime a staff member had to come on track to retrieve a kart or restart and engine. Several times the staff member was very nearly hit. Timing on karts seemed questionable and staff had little interest in making the occasion anything special for our group... If you want a good team karting experience, I recommend PowerPlay in Bibra Lake. Karts were in a general poor state - steering wheels missing foam and taped up with duct tape, bumpers hanging off etc. When we arrived at the centre a few of the staff were out the front revving their engines in their personal cars. Don't mind that so much but a sign of how quite the place was. Toilets were disgraceful, blocked all except one urinal and staff members not able to fix anything. Bins outside the centre were overflowing and disgusting. This is really a 1 star review but within the actual racing we did have, we had fun and had a workout.
We had a team building with colleagues from work (9). It was such a fun and competitive moment. Nice infrastructure and a picture on the wall with the best kart/F1 driver ever! Bathroom (male) could be a little better.
Terrible experience. My son was first given a go-kart that barely worked. He had to switch to another one, which cost him almost half of his 10-minute session. When we mentioned the lost time, Even after that, the staff at the counter showed no willingness to help. The woman there spoke with a rude expression and a completely uninterested attitude, offering no support at all. The place was dark and nothing like the photos. The karts looked old, poorly maintained, and the whole area didn’t smell great. The staff at the counter was extremely rude and unprofessional. Complete waste of money. We won’t be going back. not even worth a single star.
Facility good. Track is good. Front of house good. Safety and hygiene is terrible. No hair nets for helmets. Helmet wet from sweat from previous person. Harness in kart was tied in a knot and 2 inches from my neck. After first corner i pulled in and said this harness is not safe as it was touching my throat when i got shoved from behind. Staff said sorry we don’t get money to repair karts and you wont move that far forward in a crash which as a certified DOT inspector i know is incorrect.Missed half the session. No safety flags if someone spins out to warn drivers.
