I've been doing personal training at the Kin studio for about two years now. Excellent trainers who work with and around injuries to help strengthen and heal. Trainers are all kinesiologists so they can also integrate deep tissue work into your session. I'm so glad I discovered this place.
I have had an excellent experience with Dario Perc. He is a certified kinesiologist. His knowledge base is sound. It is applied to treating and helping clients of all ages. He does a thorough assessment and then creates an individualized treatment plan. He is personable, engaging, friendly, positive and patient. A printable version of possible exercises to do on one's own outside of the session is sent out by email as part of the program. The studio is clean, bright and conveniently located for me. It is close to a metro station. There is a selection of good music to choose from while one participates in the sessions. If it is clinically indicated, then one can consider soft tissue release manual therapy which has helped many people with pain and stiffness. My time with Dario Perc has been an enjoyable and helpful experience. He has instructed me and provided motivation to do exercises at home to continue the gains. Each client needs to take ownership of their own health and fitness , and find the motivation from within to optimize one's health. In summary I highly recommend Dario Perc for all the great qualities listed in this review.
Although it was only a initial assessment session, I could tell I could benefit a lot more than just going to a physiotheraphy. Dario is very well knowledged for rehabilitations and on point about how to enhance my fitness problem. Highly recommend if looking for a mix of personal training and physiotheraphy for injury recovery as well as for general fitness well being.
Dario is really on the ball. Constantly thinking and integrating exercises to improve my whole body performance and life experience. He is also very attentive at treating pain with his application of active release. As a very active aging cyclist who has had a stroke, I couldn't push forward in my recovery without him. I am very grateful living close to a facility like Kin studio and the whole body exercise experience that I know will not only enhance my recovery but also contribute to extending my overall health span.
