Nicky is the best! I get the Korean Lash Lift & Tint and she does an absolutely amazing job, I get asked if my lashes are fake. My lashes feel so healthy after & the curl holds for so long. Nicky is so nice too, can’t recommend her enough!
Today was my first time getting my lashes done with Nicky, and she was honestly the sweetest person EVER!! She made me feel so comfortable the whole time, and her setup is just the cutest — cozy, pretty, and so relaxing that I almost fell asleep a few times. She’s so talented and really takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. Overall, such a great experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! 💖
This was my first time getting my lashes done. Nicky was super nice, she makes you feel really comfortable. Since this was my first time getting lashes her after care tips made it extremely helpful. I’m in love with my lashes. If you’re looking for an amazing lash tech look no longer!!

You can stop looking for the perfect lash extensions — you’ve found it with Nicky at The Lash Assignment! I had been getting my lashes done at a different salon in Alameda until the business closed without notice. I missed having regular lash extensions (so much easier to roll out of bed in the morning without having to put on makeup), so I started searching for someone new. Nicky’s reviews, location, and pricing seemed like a good fit and I messaged her on Instagram. She responded really quickly but was fully booked. I waited a couple more weeks and then gave her a try. I only wish I’d found Nicky sooner! The Lash Assignment’s location is great — close to downtown Alameda but in a location where I can always find free street parking right in front. To access the salon, you walk down the front walkway between the hedges and then turn right just before the staircase to the building (see photos). The Lash Assignment is clean and well decorated. Nicky makes each lash session feel like a spa experience, which I’ve never experienced anywhere else. When you first lay down, Nicky does a pre-treat process that includes a lash bath to prep your lashes for proper application. It’s relaxing and feels like a mini facial for your lashes. She takes her time applying the lash extensions and is careful to make sure she does a perfect job every time. Afterward, Nicky gives you an eye massage using water-based moisturizer with hyaluronic acid to rehydrate the eyes. It’s amazing and I actually look forward to my lash fills because it’s such a comfortable and relaxing experience. I’ve never had this anywhere else and I’ve tried a lot of lash salons over the years. At my first appointment, Nicky listened to my wishes and helped me find the right fit for lashes. I had an issue with some of them after my first session and she was super responsive and insisted that I come back in so she could address the issue. What amazing service. Nicky is the ultimate professional and I have a lot of trust in her and her skills. If you’re at all curious about getting lashes for the first time, or you’re looking for a new lash salon, go to The Lash Assignment!! You won’t find anywhere better.
