For the past two years, I have been using the "Outdoor Group" for all my lawn care needs. I couldn't be more pleased with the results from the initial meeting with Mr. Hazlitt to the final touches of my yard work. The entire process was smooth and profressionaly. Mr. Hazlitt took the time to understand my vision and offered me valuable suggestions that made the overall end product look amazing. There was a lot of attention to detail. The team was punctual and maintained a clean environment at all times. Also, I felt the project was completed in a timely manner while staying within budget. Adrian and his crew at The Outdoor Group are absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and work ethic went above and beyond my expectations. They listened carefully to my ideas, offered creative suggestions, and turned my outdoor space into something truly beautiful. Every project they’ve worked on has been completed with precision, care, and a genuine passion for their craft. The team did a fantastic job. They completely redid my front areas and put sod in my backyard. They were professional and knowledgeable. The front yard required them pulling up all the rocks, putting down appropriate weed barrier, replanting (some required replacing) the bushes and adding the rock back. They fixed what a previous vendor did. Not only did they fix it, they explained what they were going to do and why what was done previously was wrong. They explained the pros and cons of doing a full scale fix or the option of just pulling weeds and grass. They explained it in a way that I didn’t feel bullied into going with a more costly job. He laid out the options and the reasoning and let me think about my options over a couple of days. I would highly recommend and have them do landscaping for me again.
Abandoned the project! Where do I begin… Adrian was very quick to take my deposit on a retaining wall, but extremely slow to do any work. We signed a contract in October and on March 22nd I fired him for not completing the work. 160+ days and didn’t finish the job. He would show up for a day and work, then a month or longer would go by and nothing. I was constantly on top of him to do any work. He was always promising and never delivering. Please avoid this guy at all costs.
My husband hired Adrian to build a retaining wall. After over 160+ days, Adrian ghosted us and the project. We have come to realize that he didn’t even do it right to begin with leaving us to have to figure out how to get it completed. Will probably have to file a lawsuit. It was the most stressful thing to have to deal with and on top of it, he was often very rude when we kept trying to reach to see when it would be completed. He left tools out, boards and gravel on our grass so that it is probably also going to have to be replaced. I honestly don’t know how he has such “great reviews”
