The food at Painted Table was genuinely great, but sadly the service completely took away from what should have been one of the happiest days of our lives. During our wedding, my family was literally being hounded for payment. That alone feels insane to even write. We had already agreed over the phone that a small remaining balance of less than 250 dollars would be handled after the wedding, yet instead of honoring that, their team chose to repeatedly pressure my family during the event itself. It caused stress, distraction, and unnecessary tension on a day that should have been joyful and peaceful. What made it worse was how unprofessionally the situation was handled by Vanessa. There was no grace, no understanding, and no discretion. It felt confrontational and careless, especially given the setting and the prior agreement. Yes, the food was great. But no amount of good food is worth being made to feel uncomfortable and stressed at your own wedding. Unfortunately, because of the service, I would not recommend Painted Table for a wedding or any important event.
We have worked with Vanessa from the Painted Table for about 2.5 years now. Every event has been executed perfectly thanks to Vanessa's professionalism and communication. I truly appreciate how hard the team works to ensure the events are executed to my standards. I never have to stress or worry because I know Vanessa always understands my vision and the food and decor will be spot on. We always receive the highest compliment on food quality and presentation. I am happy to be supporting this local business who strives to provide the best customer service time after time!
The painted table catered my wedding at Evanelle vineyards and the food was amazing. They let me fully customize all my selections during a tasting session and it turned out as expected - delicious. Not only the food, but all their services and help made my big day seamless. Vanessa was my day of coordinator but helped me so much more than the day of. Vanessa, took care of all my signage and seating without any issues. She also helped me make sure that all of my place settings coordinated with my table rentals and floral. The first wedding I’ve been in was my own so I felt very nervous that I wouldn’t have everything together but Vanessa made sure that everything went smoothly and I was able to be fully present and just enjoy my big day. Thank you so much!!!
Choosing The Painted Table to cater my wedding was such a blessing! Augie was very responsive and fun to work with. I truly felt as though The Painted Table didn't just want to cater my wedding, but provide a full service experience. Every single one of my wedding guests LOVED the food!!! I highly recommend The Painted Table, and will continue to do business with them for future events.
Vanessa was super helpful throughout the whole wedding planning process, especially on a deadline. She realized my vision better than I could've. The food -- tri-tip, couscous with eggplant, and summer salad -- was excellent and so was the service day-of, from wait staff to bartender. So glad we went with The Painted Table.
