I had an amazing experience at Pet Groomers and Tara. From the moment I met her I knew she would take care of Griz. Tara did a fantastic job with his haircut and we are very pleased.

Used to love this place but will not be returning. Unfortunately, our dog was there for 4 1/2 hours today (9:30 - 2:00) and still wasn't done with his haircut even when they said he was done. When he was finally "ready" my husband arrived and they were still working on his haircut. We got him home and he was bleeding a lot from his foot. I called and left a message to see if they could explain what happened so I could understand if it was anything serious. When Becky called back she said she was the grooming manager and she wondered "who was bleeding" as they noticed it after he left. Becky blamed the dog for "jumping off the table" because he was excited. She also said they were "backed up" today because they had several other large dogs. I do understand days get busy but a service going from 2 hours to 4 1/2 seems excessive. I also realize things happen but she essentially blamed the dog for taking too long, jumping off the table and making himself bleed. I tried to give them a chance to explain or communicate but it seemed like they wanted no part in having a discussion. She said I was being verbally abusive and disrespectful. I felt I was just looking for an explanation but the response was ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. She thought she was being "abused" because we weren't happy with the $130 haircut. There were no profane words, threats, etc. I attempted to get an explanation and they wanted no part in it. Sometimes in business you are going to have to own up to a customer having a bad experience and not be so sensitive to feedback/questions. Pet owners have every right to ask about the services and expect their groomer to take good care of them while in their space.

Would give zero stars if possible. We have been taking our doodle here for a couple years now and they've normally done a good job. But today was the last visit. They worked on him for 4.5 hours and were not done when I arrived to get him. When he got home he was bleeding and had obviously not had enough water to drink in the time he was there (based on how thirsty he was). They then proceeded to speak disrespectfully to my wife who called to inquire why he was bleeding. They took no responsibility for the fact that he was bleeding, then blamed us because we had "distracted" him when we came to pick him up and he jumped off the table, causing him to bleed. He was still being worked on when I showed up. He was still locked in a harness on the table, and the fact that they were unable to gently and controllably place him on the floor when they were "done" is beyond irresponsible for a dog that is 11. Don't waste your time. They did not take responsibility for our pet and I would be concerned if you were considering taking yours there. Not sure what has happened here since we first started taking him, but they have lost us and our friends as customers.

They did a wonderful job on my Husky and my Malamute. They were fast, kind, and my dogs were calm and obviously treated well. I highly recommend this place for grooming your dog
