After trying some other places around town, we found Pet Ranch has been the perfect fit for our dog. It isn't over crowded like the others and our high energy dog loves running for hours.
We are extremely disappointed with our experience at Pet Ranch. When we picked up our dog today, he reeked so strongly of urine that we had to immediately bathe and scrub him when we got home. His chest was raw and bright red, he had a raw spot on his lip, and his paw was so irritated that it began bleeding once we got him home. In addition, his face was covered in crusted eye discharge. From what we observed, it seems our dog was left sitting in urine for long enough to cause painful rawness on multiple areas of his body. What makes this worse is seeing recent reviews describing the exact same issues - we now realize this is not an isolated incident. This is absolutely unacceptable and shows a disturbing lack of care. We will never return to Pet Ranch and strongly caution others against trusting their pets here.
If your dog is reactive or needs special accommodations, this is not the place for you. My dog is fearful and reactive, especially around men. I worked with the training staff here ahead of time so my dog could get used to the female staff before boarding. I was reassured by the trainer that my dog would only be handled by women, would be placed in the largest kennel available, and they had no-contact options like off-leash transitions to avoid stress. Despite all of that preparation, the day after drop-off, I was informed that a male staff member — either a “lead” or “trainer” (they didn’t seem to know the difference) — entered my dog’s space with a female lead in an attempt to “acclimate” him. My dog bit the man out of fear, which was completely preventable. I was never contacted or asked for permission beforehand. Had I known they planned to have a man interact with my dog, I would have explicitly said no — as I already had multiple times. To make matters worse, my friend picked him up and discovered he was kept in the smallest kennel, despite being promised the largest one. This facility is disorganized, unprofessional, and failed to follow basic, clearly communicated instructions. They are not equipped to handle reactive dogs and will mislead you to believe they are. Please don’t take your pets here just because it’s more affordable — it could put your dog, and their staff, in a harmful situation.
My little girl loves going to see Brittney, her groomer every time she goes!! We trust her and she never disappoints! All the staff have been very kind and patient with us and we look forward to each and every visit!! Thank You!!! 🥰❤️
My Cane Corsos can be a bit intimidating but the Pet Ranch staff is incredible in handling them. They are our babies and very sweet. The entire staff could see that immediately and took to them right away. I love the updates I get and the live web cam to be able to watch them in group play. We can actually enjoy our vacation knowing our pups are in great hands!
