The Queen Mary is an iconic ocean liner turned historic hotel and museum. Walking through its grand decks, vintage cabins, and elegant halls feels like stepping back in time. The ship is full of history, stories, and even a few ghostly legends, making it exciting for history buffs and curious visitors alike. Perfect for a day trip, guided tour, or just soaking in maritime history. ⚓

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Queen Mary hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed. The culinary experience was exceptional, with delicious food that exceeded my expectations. The accommodations were also noteworthy, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. However, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the ghost tour. As a paranormal enthusiast, I was thrilled to explore the ship's haunted history. The tour was engaging, informative, and entertaining, making it a must-do experience for anyone interested in the paranormal. Overall, I highly recommend the Queen Mary to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience in Long Beach.

Beautiful views, and captivating historical tour. Rooms are small and walls are thin. That's to be expected since its a 90 year old boat. However maintenance is clearly lacking, carpets are musty on the A deck, B deck felt a bit of an upgrade rooms felt cleaner and well kept. Restaurants and bars are pricey for what you get. We ordered pasta a sandwich and chowder. Chowder was good, but the pasta was bland. Cups had an egg smell. The observation bar smelled like an old dive bar. We waited about 30 minutes and never got served. Same musty smell from the carpets. Everywhere else we got greate service. There are plenty of restaurants at the nearby LB Pike. I would suggest to go there for dinner and possibly lunch. Tours are great! We took the Spanish tour and our tour guide was just great!

Loved the queen Mary, but it is an old ship from the 1930s, so expect the aging structure and smells. I really enjoyed the history and tour areas, definitely makes you appreciate modern cruise ships. The art deco designs are great. We stayed one night between Christmas and New Year's Day. Got a mini suite with two beds for the family. The room had two bathrooms, one queen bed and a pullout couch bed. We had drinks at the observation bar and ate at the cafe, it was fine, spendy as you would expect. Overall a great experience, would do again.

We decided to spend our Christmas aboard the Queen Mary for a change of pace. The ship was decorated tastefully for Christmas. We found the staff to be friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. Make sure to allow enough time to explore all of the historical exhibits featured throughout the ship ~ engine room, boiler room, propeller, Churchill War room/bunker exhibit, LEGO models, etc. We did find the cat on the Lego exhibit. The front desk will provide you with a free map, noting where to find all of the historical exhibits. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. If you’re in the area or want a quick weekend getaway, I highly recommend spending time aboard the Queen Mary.
