I live in New York City and come to Buffalo twice a year to visit family. I have never been able to find a stylist that I liked in Buffalo until I went to The Salty Dog and had Rick cut my hair. He listened to everything that I wanted to do. He was very personable. We had a great conversation. The place is terrific and I highly recommend it to anybody who wants to look great and have a stylist that truly listens to them.

Personalized, detailed, meticulous professional cuts and care of any and every style, from a dedicated, welcoming staff in an expansive, comfortable downtown space. . .there's a pool table, ever-changing music and a beer mini-fridge for diversion while you wait (which you really never do, because they're faithful to appointment times). Make this place your head (and face) space.
Absolutely the best spot in Buffalo, if not the best spot I’ve ever been to. Tim is my barber but everyone there is amazing. Been having my cuts done here for two years and just for the “dudes day off” treatment, do yourself a favor and get that before any big event like a wedding. I highly recommend Tim and Salty Dog to anyone that’s looking for a chill, professional, and high quality experiences
I recently took my son to Tim for a haircut, and I couldn't be more impressed! Finding a barber who is great with children and also delivers a sharp, stylish haircut can be challenging, but Tim exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, Tim's bubbly and fun personality made my son feel comfortable and at ease. He was incredibly patient and child-friendly, engaging with my son in a way that kept him happy and entertained throughout the entire process.
