I was in town for an event and walk by this Barbershop looking for a quick cut. Due to the level of traffic was unable to get in that particular day, Lonell Pointed me towards the QR code and told me to see if there’s any cancellations. It just so happened That he had one of the following day and due to all of the events going on that Saturday I was stuck in traffic and damn near missed my appointment. I showed up at the barbershop to see what he can do with only 10 minutes left in my appointment and he took care of me with excellent customer service, Attentiveness, And quality. Great vibes in the shop, High-level professional professionalism, And quality that is unmatched!! With no enhancements and only natural skill, this gentleman gave me a great cut with minimal time. I would highly recommend the shop if you’re in the downtown area. Rich from Denver says thank you and next time I’m in town I will definitely be booking with you.
These guys are awesome, and was surprised when they were able to see me as a Friday walk-in appointment- as they are typically fully booked out. They both are good conversationalists, treated us nicely for out-of-towners, and had fair prices to boot. And their cutting skills were top notch. I walked in with a giant red mop of hair that I had been trying to maintain the bangs on since my last barber experience was a mess- turning into essentially a wild mullet. In just a few minutes he planned out the approach, talked me through the whole process, and made sure he brought things back in line (vs wholesale destruction of the long hair I had been growing). Best of all: I felt educated by the process, and would highly recommend this place to anyone in the future!
This lil shop in Detroit is amazing and the talent inside is top notch. I had a cut with Ash and it was far better than what I expected. She did my hair exactly how I wanted it. The place is very cozy and they take their time on your hair. Definitely would recommend anyone here who needs their hair to be on point. I will definitely be back. Thanks Ash!!!!
If you want a haircut at The Social Club Grooming Co., I recommend an appointment. They are usually too busy for a walk-in. Like Detroit Barber, you're going to get a great experience and haircut from a homegrown team of #DetroitFriendly barbers who have great taste in music.
Justin & Josh are the best barbers! They are so sweet and great with the kids. Best spot for boys haircuts! Huddle ice cream around the corner and Mr Dips burgers are a bonus as well! Got the brothers cut at same time! Added bonus for mom- the record shop next door has a bar I can grab a drink and bring it over to the barber shop! Highly recommend!
