This coffee shop has great ambiance. Super comfortable seating and very well decorated. The staff is nice and the latte was good, except it was slightly missing texture. Overall a good experience and I'd definitely be back for more lattes.
Absolutely adorable little cafe. Attractive seating, very friendly staff and good coffee. It’s obviously a terrible neighborhood but this is such a little gem “in the rough”.
Came to visit Portland to see Halloween stuff. The Society Hotel cafe was recommended on our Ghost tour. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy. Staff were very nice and gave us a couple cool ghost stories about the hotel. I don’t know if it’s because we came from Seattle but we had an espresso, Americano and drip coffee. The coffee was thin and had no flavor, like drinking water.
Nothing bad I can say about this café! It's inside the hotel I'm staying at and was a convenient way to start my day. Coming from New York State, I'm used to breakfast sandwiches on a bagel being standard. I really enjoyed it being on toasted sourdough bread instead! The cheddar cheese was gooey and tasty, and the eggs were well-seasoned. The hashbrown was a nice side; crispy and didn't taste like it came from the freezer. The Chai tea was so good, I got a second one this evening! Grateful to have access to this café for a few more days!
