My family gave me a voice lesson with Song Spot over my birthday weekend in Nashville. Really a highlight of the trip working with Dana, who is a trained vocal coach ( and has a beautiful voice!). She gave me some practice exercises to strengthen my voice. Most of all, she gave me encouragement with a hobby which, for me, needs a lot of encouragement! I highly recommend Song Spot and Dana. Oh, and after one lesson you can say you were musically trained in Nashville — on Music Row!
I can't express enough how happy we are to have found The Song Spot! For over three years now, Dana has worked with our daughter to help guide her vocal gifts to new and unexpected heights. Everyone in the organization has always been kind, professional and are true in their desire to see each student grow in their specialty and to help them gain the confidence needed to share those talents with the world! I am so grateful that my kid is a part of this special group. I know she is in great hands!
I took virtual guitar lessons with The Song Spot for about six months, and I can’t recommend them enough! Even though I live in Philadelphia and they’re based in Nashville, the experience felt super personal and connected. When I was searching for lessons, I shopped around quite a bit, but The Song Spot really stood out because of their structured curriculum and the way they created a plan around my personal goals. I wanted to get back into playing and advance quickly, and they absolutely delivered. Dana is incredibly friendly and an amazing teacher—so patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in your progress. And Nick is an insanely talented guitar player who brings so much energy and knowledge to every session. Whether you’re a kid just starting out or an adult (I’m 24) looking to take your skills to the next level, this is 100% the place to go. My experience was incredible from start to finish!
Voice lessons at The Song Spot have been so fun and instructional to my daughter, 10yo, who has a passion singing. Piper, our instructor, is kind, motivating, and really spreads her love of music to her students. Nashville is lucky to have The Song Spot to improve our music education.
HUGE Shoutout to Dana and The Song Spot for an amazing songwriting workshop! We brought several of our top performers at our company to Nashville to celebrate their success! Dana put on an incredibly educational, hands on, fun, inspirational, team building activity. She took the time before hand to get to know our company and put together an amazing event. This was definitely the highlight of our trip. Dana is amazing and I highly recommend Dana and The Song Spot! We will definitely be doing another team building event with her the next time we come to Nashville!
