Situé au 301 N Anaheim Blvd Suite D à Anaheim, The Untold Story Bookstore offre un espace chaleureux et accueillant avec une sélection variée de livres, un coin pour enfants, des collations et des cookies accompagnés d'un café offert. Il organise des soirées de poésie, de lotería et des lectures, et présente une offrande Dia de los Muertos. I can't believe my good fortune that this amazing, unique and inclusive book shop opened up right across from where I live! The vibe could not be more welcoming nor could the selection of books be more diverse and intriguing. I learn something new and meet someone interesting every time I drop in. Today I placed photos of my departed parents and late husband in the store's ofrenda at the owner, Liz's invitation, in preparation for Dia de los Muertos. Liz and her bookshop are so much more than just another Anaheim merchant - they are a true community resource! Treat yourself to a respite during these troubling times in this magical space.
I was looking for a bookstore through the web and found this amazing one. It is different in all aspects. Small but a lot of activities go in there. Go check and try their cookies with a free coffee. Definitely will go again.
This is a unique bookstore that has a lovely community vibe. I want to thank the owner, Liz, for allowing me to read from my book, Among the Reeds and Other Stories of the Supernatural, on Sunday, October 5th. My book is available on Amazon, but Liz still allowed me to have a reading at her store. Many independent bookstores don't allow this, so thank you!
As someone that was born and raised in Anaheim, this bookstore is not only something long due in our city but a vital space that recognizes, celebrates and creates dialogue about the incredibly culturally diverse and rich city of Anaheim. I was so excited to visit the new location and had a great time hanging out with a friend and discussing our current and future reads.
I was looking for a place to work and catch up on some reading, this was just the place. Very cozy, welcoming and clean. They have some snacks and offer coffee and tea. Good selection of books and even a kid's corner. They have a few events like poetry night, lotería and others. Will definitely be returning!
