I just love Dr. Waldorf! She really takes her time explaining things so you have a good understanding of what to expect with surgery and down time. I also appreciate that she would never perform a procedure that she wasn’t confident in the end result for her patients.
I was very nervous going into my initial consult. This was my first experience at a plastic surgeon's office and I did not know what to expect. I had no need to be nervous. Everything has been seamless, from scheduling my initial consultation and follow-up, to getting my surgery approved by insurance and scheduling my surgery, the attention and care provided has made me feel confident in my decision to move forward. Dr. Johng took the time to understand my medical history and the why behind me wanting/needing surgery. She quickly determined there was a medical need for my surgery and with her expertise she was able to guide me on a path where my insurance would cover my surgery. Dr. Johng provided me options and was candid when needed. There is no pressure to proceed unless you are comfortable. I'm so happy I found The Waldorf Center and am looking forward to my surgery at the end of the month.
Dr Johng performed co-surgery with my surgical oncologist to give me a prophylactic double masectomy. Dr Johng has been nothing short of incredible from start to finish!! She listened and asked clarifying questions when I was still trying to figure things out. She was kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable leading up to my surgery. Post surgery she has followed up with me numerous times for checkups to make sure I'm healing as expected and to answer any questions. My incisions are healing so wonderfully, thanks to Dr Johng. I am SO impressed with her and this practice. Cannot recommend her enough to those who need compassionate care ❤️
I am forever thankful for Dr. Johng and all the lovely, competent people at Waldorf. Getting diagnosed with cancer is like getting shoved to the ground by a giant gorilla. You find yourself on the ground again and again with each new piece of information, with no time to steady yourself in between. I never thought I'd find myself at a plastic surgery center to discuss lumpectomies and mastectomies; breast reduction/lift, or implants. So when Dr. Johng came in the exam room, she found a shell shocked woman who really wanted to scream and cry and run out of the room. Of course I didn't do that, but I'm sure I wasn't at my best that day. Did she roll her eyes and tell me to get over it? No. She calmly, rationally, and with just the right amount of sympathy, explained my potential treatments and my options. She listened to me and answered all my questions. From the moment I first walked into the waiting room I have received the best, kindest care I could possibly imagine. Dr. Johng is an excellent surgeon. She really made my new body look great. And everyone else there who worked with me, Marjorie, De-ja, Kim (and more whose names I don't know) were the absolute best. They all made this whole gorilla shoving thing much much easier to deal with.
Review: Poor Customer Service and Lack of Transparency I recently contacted this clinic to inquire about the services they offer, hoping to get some basic information about potential procedures. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. The administrative staff refused to connect me with any clinical or knowledgeable staff member unless I first scheduled a consultation with a $150 fee. I wasn’t looking for medical advice—just a general understanding of what services are available and whether this clinic might be a good fit for my needs. It’s unreasonable to expect prospective clients to pay a significant fee just to learn whether the clinic can even provide the procedure or support they’re seeking. A short, informative conversation or even a basic FAQ would go a long way toward building trust and transparency. This policy comes off as a cash grab rather than patient-centered care. It gives the impression that the clinic is more focused on revenue than on providing helpful, accessible service. As a result, I will be looking elsewhere for care—somewhere that values patient education and is willing to answer a few simple questions without a price tag attached.
