The Well Red Damsel was such a fun day outing for my friend and I. Their selection of romance books is so diverse that any romance reader is bound to find something they’ll enjoy. Their books are well thought out and clearly divided by their genres. The staff is incredibly helpful as well as kind. I can’t wait for my next visit! Thank you The Well Red Damsel!
Milwaukee loves romance!! Natasha and Bert are expert booksellers who make every customer, every curious person feel welcomed and free to explore. With excellent recommendations, a wide variety of books, and so many fun trinkets and apparel, The Well Red Damsel is definitely worth a visit (or six!). Thank you thank you thank you, Natasha! I have attended many events hosted by The Well Red Damsel and every single one has been amazing! I’ve also stopped by the Tosa store a few times already and love the atmosphere. If it’s not the founding damsel herself helping you, it’s another smiling face or Bert (everyone’s favorite bookish pup). And the store itself?? GORGEOUS. Such an amazing selection of books and soooo many photo-worthy moments. Definitely a must-go on any bookish trip to Milwaukee!
A truly wonderful store and atmosphere. Took my pup on a road trip from Chicago and The Well Red Damsel was the perfect stop. They were accommodating and welcoming to us. The store itself was well stocked and super clean. The staff (and Bert) were great and super helpful. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and love romance books. I can’t wait to see what is in store them next!
Reading for fun again as an adult has been such a fulfilling thing for the soul and having a local romance book dealer like Well Red Damsel in MKE who facilitates amazing connective experiences and events for the book lovers, gives us all the best love stories to jump into and makes being a reader so fun has been such a dream! I can’t recommend the Well Red Damsel enough for all your romance book desires!
