This is the best store in Baltimore. Period. I'm an aspiring burboun collector looking for the good stuff, Will and Phil are freaking Santa Claus. If there's something specific you're looking for, they'll try to get it for you. They don't mark up like others. This place is so welcoming and nicely laid out that it's just fun to walk through. They have amazing cheeses and wines too. I live in NOVA 90ish minutes away and try to come here at least once a week to grow my collection. I've been in CRM and customer service for 30 years, I've worked in fortune 500 companies to government offices teaching how to deliver great, sticking, repeatable cust experiences and these folks nailed it. I am not compensated to asked to write this, I'm just so impressed that I really wanted others and my followers to consider this page for their party or collecting needs in the future. Ask for Will and Phil, they're the real deal.
So many varietals from all over the world. Your source for beer, wine, ciders, spirits, and so much more. Staff are kind, knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are ok. They also allow tastings before you buy if they have a bottle open already. Perfect place to pick up supplies for a charcuterie board as well.
When you enter Wine Source to your right will be a lot of wine and other alcohol. They've a great selection, and it's at a shockingly good price point. But! To your left is really the real excitement is. They're cheese counter is a glorious thing. They rotate the stock frequently, so you'll of find cause for thrill and excitement. Most excellently, they do the same with their charcuterie, which they slice fresh to order. The mozzarella they make in house is excellent. There is also an excellent selection of pastas, tinned fishes, spices, oils and vinegars, ect. If they only stocked milk and eggs, I'd be able to do all my grocery there. Absolutely spectacular shop that has really nice people working at it.
Fabulous rum selection with prices that beat Total Wine. Has the most Clairins and Agricoles I've ever seen on one shelf!
The impulse scotch section is amazing. Don't be afraid to ask the extremely knowledgeable staff about anything. With their depth of knowledge about their different departments, you can't go wrong. I send wine friends from out of town because their selection is so well curated. Also great for grabbing a quick six. Everything a classy person needs to conduct a sweet party down to the cheese and crackers. 5 thumbs up
