Hello there , I came to Winnipeg visiting a family member and needed a haircut desperately so I went on google and started searching men’s barber shops and ( the WKND ) showed up as a professional well established business, so I called and booked an appointment after talking to a young man on the phone explaining that I wanted a fade and beard trim and also it was IMPORTANT to me that I had someone capable of performing these services. I arrived on time and was given a young guy BARBER apparently and first thing he told me was ( I’m just starting out if I mess up I have the old guys here lol ) so I received the most terrible fade I’ve ever had which I will post pictures of after , and he was asking me which clips to use and seemed very incompetent in his craft to say the least THE FADE WAS HORRIFIC !!!! I wouldn’t let him cut my beard and after I left the chair on my way to pay for this brutal haircut another employee sitting in a chair looked up at me and laughed and said SICK FADE BRO and looked down at his phone , so I payed $45 for this garbage and ended up shaving my head !!!!! I am not pleased ! I would not recommend this business to anyone ! Whoever the owner is needs to seriously read resumes and do background checks on employees work history ! UNACCEPTABLE ! Now what I will do is post these reviews through social media and I will do everything I’m My power to defer any potential clients from coming to this establishment, even well I’m not from here and on vacation I will use every resource from my family to STOP anyone from getting barber services there !
I’ve been coming here for a few years now and always book with Audi. He does a solid job every time. He listens to what you want, takes his time, and the haircut comes out perfect each time The place has a great atmosphere and you never feel rushed. I always leave happy with my haircut. Definitely recommend this place

Got a fine line tattoo from Tye at WKND Hair Salon, and I couldn’t be happier! Super clean work, great attention to detail, and very professional. The lines are perfect — exactly what I wanted. The shop has great vibes and is super clean. Highly recommend Tye if you want quality fine line tattoos done right! 💯🖋️
I had an appointment with Roosh for a cut and color and it turned out really nice I’ll include some pictures of my hair a few days after I had it done and I curled it, the salon is a really cool vibe would recommend.
