I’ve been going to Frankie for years because he’s simply the best stylist in DC! Whether I just need a haircut or the works (color/highlights/lowlights/shadow roots etc), Frankie provides exceptional service. Not to mention he’s hilarious, so time in the chair flys! I always look forward to my appointments 💜💜💜
I highly recommend Frankie to anyone with hair issues! I have a trichotillomania which is a fancy way to say that I pick at my hair. I’ve been embarrassed to go to salons due to many stylists not understanding how to deal with the issue. Frankie made me feel so comfortable and was able to work with me to get my hair to what I wanted! He made me feel beautiful!! 100% recommend.
Updated again for 2025: love working with Frankie because we try out a lot of styles and colors. Did a new shade of brunette yesterday and love it (forgot to take a photo!) Updated: I went Friday 7/3 for the first time since Covid. I felt very safe. Everyone had a mask on the whole time and space was adequately separated from other clients. And as many of us can relate, I needed some help with my roots. Frankie did a great job giving me a color that will be easier to maintain and gave me a great, fresh cut. Been going to Frankie for a number of years. He is magical with hair. I had several years of great short hair cuts and now I've grown my hair out longer and am doing more with color. Frankie is great for cuts, balayage, basically anything you're looking for. I can't recommend him highly enough. Oh, and did I mention he usually has his cute dogs at the salon!
Frankie has been my trusted stylist for over ten years and I found him through online reviews. He has always provided stellar service and what makes him stand out is his consultation services (problem solving ability). He asks clients what they are trying to achieve and advises on what services and maintenance and care routines will sustain the client’s look. Recently (past 2 years) Frankie has been helping me transition my hair color as I have been going gray and I’m extraordinarily grateful for his advice.
Frankie is so amazing. I was desperate for a hair fix when one of my weft extensions (that I got done somewhere else) was completely falling out of my hair. After I ran around all of DC where many people promised to help me on the phone but ended up not being able to help, I found Frankie. Frankie gave me a same day consultation and booked me in as soon as possible. He gave me tips to style my hair so no one could see my falling extension which was so kind. The day of my appointment, Frankie sat me down and we discussed some of my hair concerns. My hair is naturally almost black, and I now have a bleach blonde balayage. I don't cut my hair for religious reasons and Frankie was very accommodating and always made me feel comfortable. He explained he could see over processing in my hair, and I explained to him my own concerns with my hair texture. We discussed treatment options and aftercare, and he did a treatment. This was about a week ago and my hair has felt so much better since. Frankie knows so much about hair and has such a clear passion for it. I was so distraught about the shape of my hair and he made me feel so much more confident! My extensions do not hurt at all, nor do they feel too heavy on my head. He is so creative and has an amazing set of technical hair skills. I am so grateful I've found him, I've had too many terrible hair experiences in the DMV, and I've found where I'll be going forever.
