The Fair Oaks location was very clean, and the doctor I saw was very nice. However, I didn't like how pushy they were when it was time to pay. As a new patient, I don't know if this is what I want to do, and I would like some time before spending thousands of dollars on a treatment package. And that's when it felt more like a car dealership. When my initial choice wasn't enough for them, they would instantly say it's not enough treatments and that I need to do more. More what? More treatments or more money? As I saw it, they would not stop until I chose a higher-priced package. They need more tact and reasoning ability. Overall, the quality is good, but their sales tactics need major improvements. After such a great first acupuncture session, it really threw off my qi.
For years, I endured the challenges of SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia) and Atrial Fibrillation (Afib), conditions I was diagnosed with in 2017. My extensive treatment journey included three ablations and an angiogram, which ultimately led to a daily reliance on calcium beta-blockers to manage my symptoms. Every time I walk in the doors of V W S, I’m always greeted with warmth by their friendly staff. Wait time is very brief for scheduled appointments and staff is professional. Treatment rooms are always clean, temperature is comfortable, and “zen” audio provides relaxation. I signed up for memberships (acupuncture and spa treatments) with significant price reductions.
I am a 46 yr old women who up until last year, I had what I would call normal periods. At 45 I had a period that wouldn’t stop which landed me in the ER getting blood and having an emergent D&C. I was back to normal for 13 months and then started having irregular bleeding again. After a follow up with western dr’s in late August because of continual bleeding, an IUD was placed and 1 month of meds given I was told I needed a “stat” hysterectomy. The earliest they could perform the hysterectomy was end of November. Stat? I was told if I became more symptomatic due to blood loss to go to the er and they would perform an emergent hysterectomy. (This is a very condensed version of the events that took place.) My experience with the western system left me feeling horrible; powerless, confused, frustrated and so on. At this point I started looking for other options and found Tian Chao Herbs. I was very impressed with the very thorough assessment I received, the discussion that took place, and the respect that was shown when I chose a modified treatment plan. Two weeks into treatment my bleeding stopped. In this time frame my fear of “what is happening to me” went away. Faith in myself, energy, mental clarity and more returned. I now feel like I can make a clear decision for myself going forward. Again, this is a very condensed version of my story. I share it with you because maybe you are looking for other avenues to help yourself. I don’t know if this medicine is right for you, you’re the only one that can answer that for yourself. What I can say is that it not only helped with my acute situation, it helped and continues to help me with this and other physical and emotional ailments as well. For this, words cannot express the deep gratitude I have for Tian, Wesley, Jiwan and the wonderful ladies in the office. Thank you with all of my heart. Little bit more info to hopefully paint a fuller pic; bleeding caused by thick endometrial lining and fibroid. I did receive Iron infusion and took oral iron. Pre tx labs hem 9.0, iron > 12. Post 1 month hem 13.3 and iron 136.
Doctor Bae is always very gentle with her acupuncture treatment and massage therapist Linda is attentive and responsive to my body's needs and issues during the sessions. Appreciate also all the other professional healers especially their job commitment and dedication at Tian and Violet.
