We're approaching the 2 year mark at Tiger Rock Glendale and have been overall really happy with the experience. To me, the value of this school is not the physical skills and training (which are great), but the instruction in real life skills such as having perseverance and giving back to the community. This school has been paramount in our endeavor as parents to raise a well rounded young man. Under the guidance and leadership of the instructors, our son has really blossomed and grown here. I am so excited to see his journey continue towards, and beyond, Black Belt.
I can’t believe how big of impact Tiger Rocks Martial Arts had on my kids . They loved it from the first day ! Mr & Mrs Smith and the rest of the instructors are amazing , they know every child by name , and they have a lot of kids training every day . The training is educational and fun at the same time. We love it !!!! I recommend Tiger Rocks Martial Arts Glendale to every one .
For a year now, my children Kenan and Maya have been training at Tiger Rock,my daughter maya had difficulty dealing with people and felt very embarrassed, but since coming to Tiger Rock she has completely changed and everyone around us felt that. She has become more expressive and defends herself. Her personality has become very strong, and the credit goes to all the instructors at Tiger Rock. They are among the most efficient and skilled people in dealing with children of all conditions, they not only train them physically but also teach them patience and many values and principles that they need in their daily lives.
Our son has been attending Tiger Rock for two years now and loves it! The teachers are kind and work really well with the kids. They really help build values and discipline. Before coming to Tiger Rock other Dojos turned us away saying they didn’t want to work with a child who could not sit through the lesson. But I remember the first day of class at Tiger Rock. How grateful I was for Mr Jimenez and Mrs Smith for taking the time to sit next to Myles and work with him one on one so he could get thru the lesson and instead of turning us away at the end Mrs smith said she would work with him and after a few classes he was sitting still in class and paying attention. I’ve also noticed a huge difference in my son’s behavior since we’ve started him in the program at 4. Even after moving farther away we still choose to drive out to attend classes because I don’t want to lose the wonderful teachers Myles’ has built relationships with over the years.
Our son has been going to Tiger Rock since he was 4. He is 7 now! He absolutely loves TR and the instructors. Mr. & Mrs. Smith are amazing. They are always there to answer questions and are great leaders on the mat for the kids.
