My friends and I booked a table here during our holiday to try their famous brunch. The room is so bright and filled with plants, making it feel very fresh and modern compared to the city streets. We really enjoyed the food because it was served hot and the portions were quite generous for the price. The team looked after us well and kept everything moving without us having to ask for help. It was a very lively and happy experience that made our trip feel very special.
Service was fantastic. The place is nice. Gave 4 stars for a weird reason, I’m not normally a Karen but I’m actually disappointed in the fact that the men get their own private bathroom - as well as being able to use the bathroom that women are left to use? Women- Unisex bathroom that everyone can use, disabled toilet. Men get a private room, urinal, into a private toilet? Make it make sense?
I booked Tiisch for a bottomless brunch to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. When we arrived, no one acknowledged us for quite a while. We were standing near the “please wait to be seated” sign feeling awkward and cold, and despite staff walking past multiple times, no one greeted us or even said “I’ll be with you soon.” I understand places can get busy or short-staffed, but a simple acknowledgment goes a long way. It was so uncomfortable standing there while the team members very obviously avoided making eye contact. Once we were finally seated, it took ages before anyone came back to take our drink orders. We didn’t receive our first round of food until after 9:30, and by that time, we’d only been offered one drink refill in about 75 minutes. For a bottomless brunch that costs $79 per person, that’s just not acceptable. When we finally got the attention of a staff member (who seemed to be a manager), she was polite and apologetic, explaining they were “running behind.” While I appreciated her attitude, being understaffed or busy isn’t really an excuse when guests are paying for a set service. We requested more drinks to which she accommodated but nearly half of them never arrived. To top it off, when she brought the bill, she mentioned she wouldn’t charge us extra for the drinks we received after our booking time , which honestly felt out of touch given how much service we’d missed during our booking. The only positive was that this one particular staff member was kind and tried to make things right, but overall the service was so poor that it completely overshadowed the experience. We were polite, calm, and just wanted to enjoy a nice birthday brunch, but it ended up being frustrating and disappointing. Sadly, I won’t be returning or recommending Tiisch to anyone.
Nice little cafe bar style, parking in the CBD never a pleasant experience. Small and yet spacious seating arrangement, staff is excellent, we did not have time for food ordering, but the coffee is very good. Our Melbourne contractor did mentioned it as good as Melbourne coffee.
This was the best bottomless brunch we have been too. The food was great, the service for drinks was so fast it was unbelievable. Having the opportunity to pick different cocktails was really appreciated. It catered to my guest who was gf really well. And it was open on a Tuesday for bottomless! Honestly 10/10 and ill be back and recommending to friends.
