The spiced apple slush margs were overly frozen you couldn’t drink them even after waiting for ages. My partner just started spooning the ice and it did taste nice but I was disappointed as I wanted a drink - I asked if I could return mine rather than spoon the ice and the manager was really friendly and gave me a refund and I really appreciated how it was handled - it is whoever is on shift just now! Give her a raise! The food was delicious and we’ll be back
I paid for large bowl but the lady put as small portion - I saw she served a man before me and she put more for him and also a take out she put food over the top - 1 scoop Maybe they put less food because I’m female I don’t know got disappointed with the attitude I’m from Latin America and have many meals in my life - it’s part of the culture not to be mean and serve people well I didn’t have this experience and feeling and tortilla or I was unlucky to be served by the wrong person
Manager needs to take a Food Hydene course. I ordered a chicken quesadilla the manager then took the tortilla out of the hands of whom I ordered from, lying it on the counter then gets a piece of paper to put the tortilla on, all this whilst wearing no gloves. I asked do you all not wear gloves anymore? She then glared at me continuing to throw my quesadilka together never asking if I needed anything else. I am in a catering business myself. Makes you wonder what goes on behind closed doors.
Warm food, fairly pricey and average tbh. I left most of it because it was cold I mentioned it to the staff who didn't care at all - shame. Nothing to write home about The honest traveller x
Tortilla in Liverpool is an absolute gem — a solid 5/5 from me! I’m obsessed with their naked burrito (because sometimes, carbs are optional and guac is not). It's fully halal, which is a huge win, and the best part? You get to play burrito architect and pick all your own fillings. It’s basically a flavour packed buffet in a bowl. Honestly, it's become my go-to spot at this point.
