We love Trailing Tails! My dog Melo has been part of their dog walking group for close to two years now (in our family, called Melo's dog pack!). It is a source of joy, fun, structure and routine for Melo. He is an active, very smart three year old, and his daily walks and social interactions make a huge difference for both of us. Melo can often be found looking out the window waiting for his Trailing Tails friends, and when they arrive, he is full of body wiggles and kisses. The team at Trailing Tails has been phenomenal. They are communicative and trustworthy. They continue Melo's training outside of the home. And their care and experience comes through in every interaction. An amazing perk is they share photos every day (!) from their hikes on Instagram, so I can always check out Melo's dog pack smile. Trailing Tails is part of Melo's family! I highly recommend their services.

I have been sending my dog, Tina, to walk with Trailing Tails for the last six months and they have been absolutely WONDERFUL! They are consistent, communicative, respectful, and dedicated to making each dog feel safe and comfortable on their walks. I have a semi-anxious dog that takes a long time to warm up to new people, and Nathaniel and Jules have worked so hard to integrate Tina into their dog walking groups. From the very first time I sent Tina to walk with them, I knew that Trailing Tails would be a good experience for my dog, and that has shown itself to be true time and time again. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable dog walking service!

Nathaniel and Adam take incredibly good care of Lilly, our 2 year old labradoodle. She loves the off leash adventures with her morning crew, at fort funston, Ocean Beach, etc. Let's be clear, this is not your average dog walking experience! They pick them up, drive to an awesome spot, play for an hour, take some cool group pictures (that will first end up on insta and then in her annual calendar!), and come back tired for her afternoon nap... wow, what a treat for everyone! The benefits go beyond the daily walk: Lilly is more social, rested and well behaved. Finally, Nathaniel and Adam have been super nice and super reliable, not a single issue since we joined Trailing Tails. If you have a social and energetic dog, I would highly recommend!

It was important for me to find a dog walker who was reliable, caring and educated on positive reinforcement training skills and I got all of that when I found Nate and Trailing Tails. My dog is a loving pittie with some separation anxiety issues, and Nate and Adam have only helped him improve his anxiety behaviors. I love that they always take the dogs to a different different destination every day, and off leash walks for the dogs with good recall are invaluable. Communication and scheduling is clear and direct, as are expectations for both sides, and they have never missed a day. The best part is if I have to add a walk in last minute they are wonderfully accommodating. I can’t ask for a better set of people to care for my loving dog!

We found about Nathaniel on Nextdoor and we really wanted to pick a good first dog walker for our dog Nellie. We got so lucky to meet him as it immediately worked great for Nellie. She is the happiest every time she sees him picking her up for her walk. Nathaniel is genuinely awesome with dogs, we love his way of taking them off leash while training them. He will also be always very professional, convenient and sweet. Your doggies are surely safe with him. And, you will always have fun photos/stories of his walks. I can’t recommend him more!!
