Many of the game mechanics were flawed which cost us several minutes. We had a puzzle correct and knew it was correct - After doing the puzzle over and over they finally let us move forward (not sure if they weren't paying attention or what.) We also requested help with a clue but received no response for several minutes. We have done many escape rooms - Today's was the most disappointing. They did ask us what we thought at the end and we did share our concerns.

The room we played was challenging, had surprises and well thought out. It was engaging and simple enough to follow with a good story and absolutely no copyright infringement! Unfortunately, two people in our fell ill and were unable to come to the escape room. We prepaid for 8 and 6 were able to compete. According to their website — we are not entitled to a refund. Why? It’s not like those two people were holding space for another set to pay and play with us. So that is $60 that we lose out on for no reason other than company greed. Not a great policy. Be advised to only book your room for 2 players and add more when you get there to do the escape room. Don’t end up being cheated out of your money like we were. Unlikely to return or recommend due to the sour taste left from losing so much money.

We had a great time! We played the Video Game Mayhem room at the beginner level - 4 adults and 4 kids between 5-11. I really like that they offer a beginner level that accommodates kids because many escape rooms are too difficult. We definitely needed the four adults to split up and help direct and solve puzzles. (This would have been really hard with only two adults and this age range of kids.) But the kids were able to help with many of the tasks and we were able to solve the room within the time limit. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Two games, back to back. Both were in working order and had interesting and fun puzzles and tasks. Of the two, I enjoyed the Wizard's Tower a bit more, it had a more cohesive and interesting story-line. Having played games at both locations, plus the Lodge of Lazarus Crowe, I think that the St. Paul location is probably the least "polished" of them, and I would put the Lodge of the highest "value" of the three locations (weighted heavily by it's unique game play).

Great place for kids birthday!! We booked the video game room and reserved their party room afterwards. Mikayla was AMAZING. She went above and beyond to make sure my little girl's special day was special and perfect. The party room was already decorated, even though we did being some of our own decorations. I forgot a lighter for the candles and Mikayla had my back! Seriously could not recommend Trapped Puzzle rooms more if you are looking to have a small, yet fun filled party for your kid. My daughter and her friends were from age 10 to almost 13 and the puzzle were not too challenging for them and super fun. Thank you Trapped Puzzle Rooms St Paul and especially Mikayla for making my daughter's birthday perfect!
