I had Reagan as my stylist and she did a very very good job and was lovely to talk to as well! She gave me the exact layers I wanted after going to many salons and them telling me my hair was too thin! Overall very happy with the outcome of my hair, the sweet staff, and the vibe of the place. If you want someone to give you a great experience then I would totally go with her :] 10/10 no notes
I had dyed my hair over bleach and had a terrible result that left my hair orange at the root and then purplish Grey down. Whitney was fantastic and was able to get me the same day (amazing). They were so kind and generous to me and I highly recommend them. Thank you so much Trim NuLu! Shannon
I have gone to this salon a couple of times and they both were great experiences! I saw Krista this time due to the great reviews she has and she lived up to every bit of what I read. When I came in she greeted me right away had a very thorough consultation with me before she began cutting my hair. She talked through what my hair goals were and what I wanted my hair to look like when I wore it naturally. She also had a lot of knowledge on face shapes and what would honestly look flattering for me. I know my hairstyle is challenging because I have hair down to my waist, get a rounded bottom, short curtain bangs, long layers, etc. Krista was also super fun to talk to and was enjoyable to be around. She executed my haircut perfectly, and the cherry on top was that she also did an amazing blow out on my hair, which I absolutely love! I most certainly will continue coming back for Krista!!
The staff was very upfront and honest about what was attainable for my hair, which I appreciated. They explained that lifting my dark hair to a mushroom brown would risk damage and still likely not give me the result I wanted. I was grateful for the transparency and for being allowed to make an informed decision. We decided on a gloss to even out my reddish-brown tone to a cooler brown. The color itself turned out exactly as discussed, and I was happy with that. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. During the wash, my scalp was burned several times by hot water. My hair was then towel-dried very roughly, and I was accidentally hit in the face. Styling felt rushed,very little product was used ob my medium-long curls,my hair was left partially wet and frizzy, and my face was stained around the hairline without being cleaned up, I did not catch this until I got home and went to wash my face only to see a ring of darkness around my hairline from forehead to ears. The service took about 35 minutes and cost $240. While I appreciated the honesty and like the color, the overall experience didn’t feel reflective of the price or level of care I expected or received.
After a year and a half of growing my hair, I finally got a haircut again. I asked Whitney for a blunt cut with face framing, and she did an excellent job. She also styled my hair, which I really loved. I’m very happy with the result and would definitely return.
