Summer was truly incredible!! I went to someone else before her and asked for a trim and confirmed I wanted layers.. and end up with the 1st photo. I came to Summer and asked for help on my layers being blended and not so choppy.. which she definitely exceeded!! Her final work left me leaving the salon ecstatic and feeling myself again!! She’s amazing!
I can’t wait to recommend Tru Salon to everyone in Colorado Springs! I had my first appointment today and, oh my goodness, what a delight. The owner, Kenzi, is so welcoming and makes you feel right at home. My hair dream team was Summer and her co-stylist Emily, and they were both incredibly patient and kind — walking me through every step of my much-needed hair transformation (it’s been almost two years since my last salon visit!). My hair is off to such a great start, and I’m already looking forward to coming back in 3–4 months for a partial highlight touch-up and root refresh. Ladies, don’t wait — book your appointment now! Loved my experience at TRU Hair Salon! Everyone was super friendly. Totally nailed what I wanted — I left feeling so fresh and confident. The place is clean, cute, and you can tell they really care about their clients. Definitely coming back!
I had Morgan as my stylist a few times and she takes the greatest care to listen and reflect my wants into the finished product! I always leave feeling satisfied. I have had low lights and highlights done with a cut and it makes me feel so pretty! I highly recommend Morgan as she is so fun and sweet!
TL; RD: 10/10 recommend TRU Hair Salon for your hair care needs. This isn’t a stop for me, it’s my salon home for as long as I’m in the Springs! The first time I got my hair done professionally, I was 16. And throughout my life, it has been difficult to find a stylist that I can trust as much as I did as a teen. My mother recommended TRU Hair Salon—and I feel so blessed. The salon itself is absolutely beautiful for one: hello aesthetics! But the energy here is—just different. From the moment you walk in the door. You feel it from those at the front desk… Charlie, Kate, Katie (hope I spelled your name right) rockstars! The community you feel here, Kenzi, has created an experience that is unmatched! Every detail is curated with intent and a love of people. Emily!! I am so thrilled to have a stylist again, and who understands my hair. When I first came here she was working on another client and the level of joy she had doing hair—you want someone like that to handle your tresses. Booking with Emily is always a warm and fun vibe. She has a passion for crafting her specialty with reds, and she has blended that beautifully into my blonde hair. Her desire to grow in this industry and her pure joy of it, is infectious! And can we talk about the products!? Omgsh—THE PRODUCTS!!! I love how silky smooth my hair feels with the Smoothing Conditioner by O Way! The Glossy Nectar! This is a serum you use after styling and it smells DIVINE! The Volumizing Root Spray also holds really well for me.
