Food was good. Hot chocolate too. Family friendly, only one TV it was on cartoons then they put football. Bathrooms are clean. Good atmosphere. Food decently priced, good portions.
Cool Lil brunch spot off Parker. Fair sized menu with breakfast and lunch options. And time I see green chili I get a cup, they brought it out with my meal which I would have preferred before, but it was fine. Was a bit cold for some reason but okay flavor. Got the short rib grilled cheese which had nice flavor topped with shishito peppers and the fries were good. My mom got the corned beef hash which she liked. We got forgotten a few times so sat without drinks for a while while the waitress was chopping it up with someone at the counter and the iced tea has a weird flavor like it was mixed with something or using uncleaned containers that were used to make something else but otherwise I'll probably give it a 2nd try and see if the experience improves
The Twisted Egg Restaurant is hands down one of the best breakfast and brunch spots around! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly smiles and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The service is quick and attentive without ever feeling rushed. The food is amazing — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The omelets are fluffy and packed with ingredients, the pancakes are light and buttery, and the coffee is always hot and delicious. Everything tastes homemade and made with care. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the menu has something for everyone — whether you want a hearty breakfast, a lighter option, or something creative with a twist (true to their name!). If you love great food, great service, and a cozy vibe, The Twisted Egg is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!
First time here since the change and the food is better than before!! I ordered the chicken fried steak and was pleasantly surprised how yummy it was, I ate the whole thing ! My friends ordered the Jefe scramble and that was very tasty too. Want to go back and try some more ~
We went to brunch on a Saturday around 10am. Surprisingly there wasn't a wait, but it was packed. First thing I noticed this place is very sensory over-stimulating. The concrete walls trapped all the echos of chatter almost to it being uncomfortable. There's a decent selection of items. No alcohol that I saw. I don't drink anymore so it's not an issue now, but would've definitely been one 4 months ago. For the price, the food wasn't as good as I expected, it was okay but not what I would expect at that price point. There are no free refills on drinks either, at least there wasn't for a kids juice at brunch. I asked & paid for gluten-free toast, but my stomach hurt all day after eating my Avocado toast.
