Karen and Julia did an excellent job cleaning my townhouse. I don’t know why I waited so long to use this service, but I am very happy!
My son was moving into an apartment in Washington DC and I received a recommendation from a friend to use Two Maids for cleaning. I corresponded with Two Maids via email and text. I was very clear in what I wanted- deep cleaning services. I was offered $100 per hour or a flat rate of $307. I paid $307 plus tip. I wanted everything clean so that I would not have to do it myself. I was unable to be there so my husband and son let them in and ran errands. I didn’t have reason not to trust their services. I just moved my son in yesterday exactly 2 weeks after the deep clean and everything was filthy with the exception of the toilet. I had to spend time doing exactly what I was avoiding and spent a lot of money. It was disgusting and I will never use their services or recommend to anyone.
I have a monthly service to clean my apt. Alma and Martha did a great job of cleaning and being flexible with my at home meeting schedule (moving around rooms). All the essential areas were cleaned and they left nice touches (folds) around the apartment. This is a good service for the price and scheudle.
Two Maids DC is truly amazing! I can’t say enough good things about Karen and Mirna — they’ve been absolutely incredible when it comes to cleaning and taking care of my mother’s home. My mom has dementia, and it means the world to me that her place is not only clean and well-maintained, but that she’s genuinely happy after every visit. It’s such a relief to have a service I can trust, especially after struggling for so long to find a company that does great work and actually cares. She bursted out crying after the first cleaning. A huge thank you to Kimberly, the office manager, who has gone above and beyond with her customer service. She’s been responsive, professional, and kind — even replying to my late-night emails right away (way beyond what I expected). Her dedication and consistency have made all the difference. This entire team, from cleaning staff to management, is the best I’ve ever worked with. I highly recommend Two Maids to anyone looking for a dependable, high-quality maid service that truly cares about its clients.
Unfortunately I’m leaving a low rating for this service as it appears they did not clean my apartment at all (photos attached). The apartment was dirty when a new couple moved in the day after the cleaning. I’m hoping to speak with the office to reconcile this issue but have not yet heard back from them. Update: the service never issued a refund despite the fact that they DID NOT CLEAN ANYTHING AND CHARGED ME FOR THE SERVICE. This was a complete shock, especially because tenants arrived to the apartment in such dirty condition, including used tampons and a full bag of trash.
