Our movers were professional and respectful. They were very conscientious about making sure they didn’t bump the walls or mark the floors. They stayed in contact with us throughout the day, asking us about moving items here or there. They cleaned all the trash up too. It was windy day and some pieces of plastic had blown away. We used this company in the past and recommend them again. The fees were upfront and no additional add on fees. We were very happy with our experience.
I’ve used two men and a truck before and happy I did again. The movers were very efficient and careful with all of our stuff. They were accommodating and sensitive with moving around our 6 month old. Highly recommend and the next time we move, we will for sure go with this moving company again.
Mel and Mark arrived right on time and were polite and personable. They walked through the house with us, paying close attention to details and asking clarifying questions. Once they started work they were professional and very respectful of our belongings. It was a pleasure to meet them and have them help us. We were quite inpressed with both our movers/packers and your company. We look forward to meeting your crew in Iowa and will definitely use your company again! Marilyn and Larry
Update: I filed a claim for my losses and I'm still waiting for the company to get back to me with any reply. I appreciate that the move was completed, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. During unloading, our china cabinet was damaged, a drawer from a baby cabinet fell and broke—causing dents and chipped paint on our staircase—and one of our bookcases arrived with scratches. We also found a significant scratch on our dining room table after the move. Additionally, I noticed that some crew members were often standing around not working, yet I was still charged for the full time, which was frustrating. While I’m glad the job got done, the damages and concerns with billing make it hard for me to recommend this company to others.
My husband booked the appointment for us. I told him it would be better if we hired a moving company to move us out of our storage unit and into our new place. We had a lot to move already out of our old room rental. I have heard about Two Men and a Truck for a while. I thought it would be nice to hire someone local. They arrived with in the time frame they told us. They move fast and handled our items with care. Reggie and Charles did a wonderful job and both were very nice. I had to go let the storage company know we moved out. The guys drove over to our new place and met with our friend. He let them into the garage, they unloaded most of the items into the garage. Once I arrived they already had a lot unloaded. I wasn't that far behind them. A few things I asked if they could put into the house. They were fine with that. Very smooth moving no stress. They even wrapped some items up.
