When I spoke with Rachael, I had told her that I had a number of boxes that I was unable to lift and the furniture was to be moved to my new apartment. She explained that it would take 6 and 1/4 hours to move from a storage unit to less than one mile to my 2nd floor apartment. Now, I had no clue that the day before the move I was able to move every one of those boxes which just left the furniture. They (Cornelius and his partner) showed up promptly at 9 am and they did not use the tv boxes as Rachael said they would use, they did not wrap the pictures or mirrors in any wrap and were not as careful as I would have thought they were going to be! Nothing was broken or damaged, and I was so thankful that they had done this move. They said they put together one bed, but my bed could not be put together for the screws and stuff were not attached to the bed. They explained that I had to go to the furniture store or Lowe’s and purchase new hardware for my bed. I asked if they would be able to come back and help me with it and they said yes, but they would have to check their schedule and see when they could get by. I told them that I had the hardware and they said they could come on New Year’s Day but for another $100.00 a piece for each of them. I was in shock because I had just paid them over 1300.00 for the move and I tipped them a hundred dollars each, and fed them from my own food. I was very thankful for all they had done, and yet, they still wanted me to give them more money. I am sick, going through chemo, I’m 52, have no one to help me, and they were asking for another $100.00 dollars a piece to come over and put my bed together. They also informed me that they didn’t have to take what I gave to them which was a Delta shower head, LG WASHER AND DRYER, and many other things that I could have sold or donated, but they seemed grateful. But when I explained that I had no money to give to them, they said that they could have charged me $250.00 for trash fee and that is when I knew that they were only out for themselves and they didn’t care! Thank you, but no thank you! I’ll pay someone who has a heart! Thank you for your help, time, service, but the follow through on your end was less than I had hoped for! Tbh, after using this company, I found out that there are several companies that are less expensive and do exactly what they are supposed to do which includes putting things together! If you are looking for a company that has your best interest at heart, then I recommend you look for one with comparable prices and find one that fits your needs, and budget! This company is way too expensive and gratitude goes far for most, but not them!
True professionalism throughout the whole process! From the initial phone call to set up the appointment with Kim, to communicating every step of the way. I even recieved a text from Rachel, in between to see how everything was going, and to make sure I had a point of contact for any questions or concerns! Quan, Cornelius and Jamal were TOP NOTCH with making sure our belongings got on the truck and off of the truck with care! Polite, hard working and professional through and through. I had heard great things about this company from a friend, and I am so glad that I made the call! They took the hard work out and stress out of my hands! 10 out of 10!
This was my first time using this company. I had a 500 lb. wine cabinet located on a residential third floor that I purchased, and it needed to be moved to my home. The three movers not only were able to get this very difficult task completed, but they also communicated very well and worked as a team without damaging anything in the home or my La Cache cabinet. I couldn't be more pleased.
Amazing moving company! The crew was professional and took really good care of the furniture. They were efficient and easy to work with. The office staff was so nice and knowledgeable. They explained everything before booking, during and after the move. Can’t say enough good things about this team
Two Men and a Truck did an outstanding job. Kim in customer service provided a warm and welcoming attitude that made us feel like we were a priority to her. Her quirky sense of humor, and keen eye to detail helped her to think of things that I hadn't considered. She was essential to the smooth operation to this wonderful experience. The packing and moving teams were all professional, and had great attitudes. It looked as if everyone was happy to be there to do their job and it was just refreshing to see employees truely take pride in their profession. It was a joy to work with them.
