I just wanted to thank Coach Javier and his family, along with the coaching staff and everyone at Ultimate Kombat, for giving my son the opportunity to grow within the sport. This is hands down a top-quality gym with a truly professional coaching staff. My son has been loving it, and we couldn’t be happier. The passion and the knowledge Roberto has is inspiring. I have had many failed attempts at sticking to a gym routine in the past but having Roberto training us in the strength and conditioning classes makes me want to show up. I have tons of health issues and sometimes I get nervous with the side effects I get from working out but he walks me through it. He knows what my body is experiencing and can explain it to me in an informative way that brings ease. He’s taught me how to slow my heart rate within seconds and honestly shown me that I am much stronger than I think I am. On top of all of that he is extremely encouraging. He will push you but not past your limit, he genuinely believes in you and wants to see you succeed. As long as you are willing to show up and bring your best he will meet you exactly where you are at and prove that you are capable of so much more. Saying things like “you look so strong” to encourage you when you are struggling or slowing down. His passion shines through and makes it incredibly easy to show up twice a week. I really hope they show him the appreciation he deserves because he is an ASSET to their gym. He also does body stretching if you need it!
My 6-year-old twins absolutely love this place! They’re involved in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, and Wrestling, and it’s amazing to see how much they’ve progressed in such a short time. One of my favorite aspects of the Jiu-Jitsu class is that they get to spend the last 15 minutes sparring, which really helps build their confidence and skills. My 18-year-old has also joined for boxing and is having a great time. The coaches are fantastic, and the atmosphere is both motivating and supportive. Highly recommend for families looking for a well-rounded martial arts experience!
Had the pleasure of coming here with my 9 year old son. It’s family owned & operated so the family vibe is welcoming & the studio itself isn’t overwhelmingly large so you don’t feel like an irrelevant member of a much larger organization. No matter the class, the instructor is going to give 100%. Plain and simple. Older children helping as well which speaks volumes. Enthusiastic communication skills for all the instructors I’ve watched working with the kids. Coach Javier sets the bar extremely high and I look forward to seeing my son learn and train with such dedicated champions!
