I cannot recommend UP highly enough. Just coming up to 6 months of training with UP, and i’m coming away with a completely renewed lens on health, fitness, nutrition, mobility and how it all feeds into long term longevity. As someone who’s had a very unstructured relationship with training for years, it’s been brilliant to build healthier habits with the rigour and clarity of UP’s approach. I’ve been training with Chris at the City gym, and it’s rare to find a trainer and programme that sharpens both your physical progress and mental approach - this programme did both. I came in at 20% body fat all the way down to 9%. That’s the difference the right structure, accountability and education can make. I definitely think UP can work anyone whatever your starting point might be. The training will take you far, but if you’re also prepared to bring some discipline, the results really do speak for themselves. Huge thanks to Chris for consistently delivering sessions that are not only rewarding but highly educational. This experience has permanently changed how I view my health and fitness. I’ve saved myself years of uncertainty, not knowing what to do or how to do it properly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get serious about their health. If you’re on the fence, my advice would be to take the leap - you’ll thank yourself for it.
I recently joined a 6-week (18 sessions) personal training program after careful consideration. While I found the training format and the trainers' knowledge to be impressive, there were some aspects of the experience I didn't enjoy. If you're considering joining or before making a payment, here are some recommendations: * Ask about the personal trainer's (PT) profile and track record instead of accepting whoever is assigned based on availability. * Ensure your PT is not pushing or selling more sessions under the guise of having your best interests at heart. * Make sure your PT stays focused on you throughout the session, without wasting time at the start, middle, or end with upselling sessions or multivitamin products, unless you specifically want them. *Make sure you have the same trainer throughout the program, rather than being replaced by different trainers under the excuse of maintaining continuity while your PT takes on other clients. Overall, Ultimate Performance is good, but your experience may vary depending on the personal trainer you are assigned. Thank you.
