My husband and I had Uncommon Catering for our wedding and we couldn't be more pleased. From start to finish, Travis and Tara were complete professionals. All email correspondence was clear and timely, and Travis was extremely helpful. It was also the best tasting experience we had when looking for our wedding caterer. There's something to be said when every dish you try at the tasting is so good that you struggle to choose the dishes for your wedding day. On our wedding day, every guest told us the food was outstanding. What wedding do you go to where every single guest is pleased with the food? We chose to add a hot beverage station two weeks prior to the day since the weather was projected to be cold, and we were genuinely surprised at the attention to detail and number of options there were for our guests to customize their coffee and tea. That station, plus the buffet area itself, was so nicely decorated to match our decor. The staff was attentive and so kind; while we and the wedding party took photos during cocktail hour, servers came to us with plates of food. During the reception, one server frequently checked if we needed drinks or seconds of any food dish. To have attentive, proactive staff at your wedding was something we didn't realize we would appreciate so much. For anyone that is researching Uncommon to decide if they are right for their event , let our review be the deciding factor for you. Truly, you won't be disappointed.

We used Uncommon Catering for our daughter's wedding, and we could not have been happier. The food was delicious; the staff was attentive and Tara and Travis were a pleasure to work with throughout. From preplanning through the event itself they were responsive, friendly, and always available to provide expert guidance and help. They helped us to plan our entire menu from start to finish including passed hors-d’oeuvres, a family style entree menu, dessert display, and gourmet coffee bar (guests had a blast creating their own coffee concoctions). Each dish and display was presented in a thoughtful and elevated way. Even our guests with food allergies commented on how good their food was. Travis and team reached out to each of our guests who had listed food allergies to confirm their choice and any dietary restrictions. This was attention to detail that went above and beyond. The owners of venue were equally impressed with how the Uncommon Catering team treated their facilities and cleaned up after. We can’t say enough to thank you Tara and Travis for helping make our daughter’s wedding a huge success.

I booked Uncommon Catering to cater my birthday party. They did an amazing job!!! The food was delicious and every single guest complimented me on the food selection and setup. The setup they provided was worth it and fit the theme perfectly. Travis was intentional about the questions leading up to the event and the staff that arrived to finish the prep and handle the event were on top of their game at every turn. They brought their own makeshift kitchen for the event so there basically unseen until they needed to be to pass appetizers. And again, the food was superb. The staff onsite was so professional and kind. I can't say enough good things about this business. We will be hiring them again in the future!

This review is long overdue! We hired Uncommon Catering for our wedding and they truly went above and beyond. We needed halal food, and they accommodated us fully even offering alternatives at the tasting so we could try everything. The food was fresh, made on-site, and absolutely delicious. Chef Tara is incredibly talented. We still have guests talking about how good the food was. Their attention to detail was amazing they even matched our wedding colors at the bar, water station, and food setup. It really makes a difference when you hire a company that cares. So thankful for Uncommon Catering and we highly recommend them!

So I was a guest at a wedding they catered last night. I’m celiac and I am severely allergic to dairy, nuts, fish, shellfish and pork. (Translated to I am hard to feed..) Oh. My. Goodness. I walk in and I’m told they were looking for me. They bring me the most delicious cucumbers with diced beets, green onions, this delicious mayo kind of sauce with this tasty flavor and a reduced soy sauce. Oh my goodness they were so good. I ate like 4 plates of them. When dinner came they brought me this squash soup that was so dreamy. Then my meal was these incredible veggies and this herb chicken. It was SO incredibly good! I was so grateful to be able to have a whole meal WITH INCREDIBLE FLAVORS since I am usually given a plain chicken breast and plain raw veggies and maybe a potato. I would highly recommend hiring them for any event that you have anywhere in the area surrounding Orlando/Lego Land. Make them your first and only phone call.
