The barbers are top notch, but the management is pretty poor. I scheduled a beard trim the day before I flew out to my wedding. My normal barber had to cancel the appointment. When I spoke with management, I asked if anyone else was available. I explained that I need to get my beard trimmed ahead of my wedding. They scheduled me another barber. On the scheduled date, the new barber wasn't at the shop. I'm not sure if the barber no showed, or if there was a scheduling error. Regardless I left the shop and never went back. To be transparent, they offered me a $50 credit. But that was a huge break in trust and I can never do business there again.
First time visiting a barbershop, and now I might have trouble going anywhere else for a trim. I’m a lady with a short pixie cut, and Benny did a fantastic job cleaning and sharpening up my look. Right away, the shop feels like home. The space is clean, inviting, and comfortable. Benny listened intently during our consultation and handled the rest with care and precision. I enjoyed talking with him and the other barbers in the shop, felt like hanging with old friends despite that I was a stranger to them. Can’t recommend this spot enough, go ahead and book that appointment!
Don't hesitate and book that appointment. One of the best barber shops I've ever been to. I've lived in multiple states and countries and can't find the skills that the barbers at union have. I have thiner hair and they were still able to work their magic to make me look good.
Union is hands down the best spot in St. Louis for a clean cut and great atmosphere. Every visit feels relaxed but professional, and the attention to detail is top-notch. I’ve been going to the barber Bonnie the past couple of years and she’s the BEST — consistently delivers the perfect cut, listens to exactly what I’m going for, and somehow makes it even better every time. She’s personable, precise, and genuinely cares about making sure you leave looking (and feeling) your best. If you’re looking for a barber who knows their craft and a shop with great vibes, Union Barbershop and Bonnie are it. Highly recommend!
Just had an appointment with Nick, and I highly recommend if you have long/curly hair! He had great information on hair care and styling tips, and I walked out with hair looking like I never thought I could have. Thank you so much! I'll be a return customer!
