Our family did the Carn-Evil room, and we were disappointed that we didn't love it as much as we had hoped. The 1930s home - and the room decor and theme - were great, but there were way too many combination locks to unearth the next clues. We were also frustrated that we didn't get prompt responses when we asked for clues. The Groupon made it a much better value, but unless other rooms had less locks, I'm not sure we'd go back and try a different one.

Groupon code was easy to use on the site Escape Rooms of America. Staff at the escape room were ready for us and walked us through all instructions well. The Mesa location had tons of rooms, all different levels, and many time available. Parking lot good size. Easy to find, although was a renovated old home. Although only a 3 clue limit normally, the game master saw us with a group of tweens booking a hard level room, and provided help as needed. Room itself was in the basement (Outbreak game) and was warm without great air flow. This room was definitely hard, with lots of clues to find, decode, and then figure out how to use for the locks. Well made game. Overall, such a fun time!

Cool concepts and lots of choices and levels of rooms to choose from. However, there were several puzzles/locks that didn't work in our room that we had to ask for clues on. We had already solved them, but wasted 20 minutes on the functionality of the puzzles unfortunately. Left us very frustrated. Staff was friendly!

This is a unique and amazing escape room. It is highly technological, has intricate puzzles, and it is apparent how much effort was put into making the environment wholly immersive. The gamemasters are highly trained and add to the thrill, giving hints when necessary and are highly attentive. There are so many diverse rooms, all in one location - you can never run out of options. This was truly a great experience and I highly recommend it to all. Thank you to Danielle, Katherine, Nick, Mikki, and Maylin!!!

My friends and I have gone to two escape rooms here. The first one we did was Outbreak. We had six people and it was such a fun time. This room was "hard difficulty" and we survived with seconds left. The clues were really neat and the time we spent there was so much fun. The second room we did a few weeks later was Pet'rified. This was a "medium difficulty" and this time we had 10 players. The site suggested 4-6 players and I agree. 10 players were too many. This escape room was navigated in the dark and there were only so many flashlights in the room. As a result, you were dependent on another player's flashlight to see and could not roam independently. The room was still very fun. There was a primary room which allowed access to a secondary room and even a third smaller room. We beat this one with 21 minutes to spare. The overall location of these escape rooms is impressive in and of itself. The house is an older Mesa home and there are TONS of escape rooms located inside the home. The staff is very nice and explain everything in great detail. They provide clues to help you along if you need it too. Sign up for a room. You won't be disappointed.
