This is a very welcoming place that feels like home, run by an amazing couple of very talented artists. I had been looking for art classes for my daughter for a while before stumbling onto this studio. My kid cannot be happier; she loves working with Sandra and looks forward to her art lessons every week. I had no idea that my daughter was as good as she is in arts. Being inspired by my kid's success, I ended up taking art lessons myself just for fun and to explore my own creative side. I am now hooked and planning to continue for as long as my budget allows. Thank you, Sandra and Fred, for giving my family this gift of expressing ourselves through paintings and for being there for us every step of this fascinating journey.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! I was a complete beginner coming in and have felt supported and encouraged every session. Sandra is such a warm and calming presence and truly cares for her students. I have done individual sessions for a few months and still look forward to coming each time. Instruction is completely personalized which is a huge difference for me, having previously taken a couple art classes in bigger group settings. I've made such improvement in my painting since starting and feel grateful that Sandra and Fred chose to set up this studio!

I received a gift certificate for an art session at Urban Art studio and had a great session with Fred! The studio was welcoming and comfortable and I loved the flexibility and choices of art medium available. In just one session I left feeling more confident in multiple areas of creating art. I’m excited to go back and learn and create some more!

Way more affordable then taking a university art class! I was off work and decided to try my hard learning portraits and stumbled across this place. Its fully local, run by two very friendly incredibly talented locals with an impressive list of achievements. Including professional teaching, and galleries. All canvas and materials are included, and snacks! I've seen little kids to adults, learning how to draw, do watercolour, paint, everything! They even host paint nights for families or businesses, date nights, etc Im really happy I found this place.

I love this place and highly recommend it! The owners Sandra and Fred are so professional and friendly! Sandra is an extraordinary art teacher. I walked in as a complete beginner, and the progress I’ve made with her feels unbelievable. She opened my eyes to how calming and meditative painting can be, and taught me to cherish the process more than the final result. Because of her, I’ve created paintings I never dreamed I was capable of. Her encouragement, patience, and passion truly changed my experience. I’m deeply grateful for her.
