My family moved last month, on Dec 12. We were very satisfied with the service received from beginning to end. From the initial inquiry, I found the employees to be very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They did not rush or pressure me at all to book. Compared to other companies, the price was also good, and because I was a repeat customer, I received some addition discounts (authorized by the manager, Fabian). When I moved 2 years ago, there were unfortunately some minor mishaps, but Fabian was able to quickly resolve them to my satisfaction. That’s why I used his company again. He is a kind and good businessman. On moving day, Shawn (the Team Leader) confirmed the appointment prior to arriving. They were punctual, which was a plus. He and his 2 colleagues, Sait, Asif, were very professional, efficient, and polite. Care went into wrapping the furniture and other fragile items. They also disassembled furniture when necessary and reassembled it after the move. They worked very hard during the 10 hour move, and 2 trips were needed since we had a lot of items. Towards the end of the move, the company called me to ensure everything was going smoothly. I was concerned that they were exhausted since they didn’t take any breaks. But I was reassured that they were ok. This is their job and they are used to long strenuous hours. In the end, they were rewarded and we were grateful for all their help. Particular recognition goes out to Shawn, the Team Leader. To us, he especially stood out. He truly is a leader, his commitment, initiative, proactiveness, and dedication, shone through in his actions. The way he handled conflicts and took responsibility made a great impression on us. On top of his technical and problem solving skills, he is respectful, has integrity and a positive attitude, along with a genuine and thoughtful heart, which are all wonderful qualities. He seemed to really care about his job and also the reputation of the company. He went above and beyond to make us happy and satisfied customers. Shawn would definitely be a fabulous role model to others. I highly commend and applaud his exceptional service. I hope his employer, Fabian, knows what an asset he is to the team and company, and that he is recognized and rewarded. The success of any company depends on the individuals within it. And it is mainly because of Shawn that I am giving 5 stars and posting this review to Urban Movers. In the future, if and when we need to move, we will most definitely use this company again, especially if Shawn is the Team Leader. He is a gem !
Bilal and Eli, were hired to move a few large pieces. Not only did they show up on time, but were quick to assess and start their plastic wrapping. I am thankful to have had these two very polite and respectful gentleman and would recommend to anyone to use. The antique piece made it in one piece with no damage. Job well done ! Thank you.
These movers did a great job. They wrapped everything and were delicate with my belongings. Would highly recommend them to anyone moving. Big thanks to Joseph, Dadash and Sushan.
I had an amazing experience with Urban Mover GTA. Bilal and Alex were my movers, and they were both incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient. From the moment they arrived, it was clear they took great pride in their work, it honestly felt like they were moving their own belongings. The move was fast, with no damage, and everything was done with great care. They were punctual, didn’t waste a minute, and followed a well-organized schedule. What stood out most was how smooth and stress-free they made the entire process, even following up ahead to check on the condition of everything and plan if there is any changes. It was a great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Urban Mover GTA, and especially Bilal and Alex if you want a reliable, friendly, and professional moving team!
