Urban Pooch has been such a wonderful addition to our dog’s routine. Kip goes for enrichment daycare and supplemental training, and it has made a huge difference, especially during the winter months when getting enough stimulation can be a challenge. His socialization, confidence, and overall happiness have all noticeably improved. The staff is incredible, and the front‑of‑house team is always so friendly and welcoming. Kip practically runs through the door every time. We’re so grateful for everything Urban Pooch provides and highly recommend them to anyone looking for high‑quality care and enrichment.

We just took our dog for his first nose work class. Before the class even started, our dog was whining while he was in the crate getting settled in with a toy in the crate. This was his first time in a new environment. The trainer was clearly very annoyed and told us to bring a kong next time. We tried to explain that we have had our dog for 6 years and have tried to introduce a kong many times and that he has never showed any interest and that he is a bit neurotic and generally refuses to engage with toys or treats while in his crate. The trainer kept talking over us and would not listen or let us explain anything. She was very rude and dismissive. It was a terrible experience. When we signed up for the class, my partner explained some of his behaviors and they were assured that it wouldn't be a problem, but for the trainer it was definitely a problem. We left before the class and will not be back and will also not have our other dog attend a different class we had signed up for. This was an overwhelmingly negative experience for us.
Fantastic organization! We took our somewhat reactive rescue dog for the Pooch In Progress course and had a great experience. Everyone we worked with there was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and clearly loved dogs - especially the trainer, Pamela. We learned so much in the class and have seen real improvements with our dog. There are a really nice variety of classes and activities to choose from in general.
Took my new puppy to their puppy agility class and it was so fun! It helped build my puppy’s confidence even with just one session! Highly recommend this class if you’ve got a wild one on your hands.
