Great experience overall. Zaher was a great consultant and very savvy in product knowledge. He was very patient and professional. He made some wonderful recommendations, making our experience as seamless as possible! Moving forward I want Zaher to be my consultant in any future purchases!
Overall went great. I loved the tracking feature that was updated throughout the day, so we could get a decent idea about when they were coming, that was amazing and would use Value City again. The delivery guys were in and out so fast and set everything up it was amazing, very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend them as delivery people, they did an amazing job today. Fantastic experience overall.
Hands down the worst experience I’ve had buying furniture and one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. Communicating with this company has been so incredibly difficult and I’m genuinely wondering how they’re still in business. We didn’t have any issues with the sales representative when we went into the store initially, however she did order the wrong orientation (or maybe it was a factory mistake, who knows) but every time we tried to call to ask questions about our pickup we couldn’t reach anyone. We were told we could pick up our couch the following week, but a few days after placing our order we were told it was going to be delayed by 6 WEEKS which interfered with several social commitments so that was already a stressor but the lack of communication was what really bothered me. We were told at the time of ordering to call the store the day of delivery to make sure it was in store. We needed to rent a uhaul for the pickup so that was already very annoying knowing that there was a possibility of our couch not being delivered on the day it was supposed to be there and no one at the store would have any way of knowing before the day we were to pick up….honestly don’t know why that’s an issue. We called several times on the day of pickup and no one answered the phone. We called multiple different lines hoping to get ahold of someone and not a single one answered. Again, I don’t know how this place is still in business with this kind of customer service. We went to the store anyway just to check and were directed to the pickup side of the store. The gentleman that was there was very nice and I know he was doing his best but he told us he was not originally supposed to be there so he wasn’t sure what was going on. We walked around the warehouse with him to find our couch and were able to find it thankfully but there was no indicator if it was truly our couch or someone else’s order and the man wasn’t able to verify that either but helped us load it into the uhaul. We were able to get it home and realized the orientation was wrong during setup but really didn’t care at that point because there’s no way I’m trying to have the problem fixed by a company that can’t answer the phone. Anyway, said all that to say don’t shop here. The furniture is fine and the quality is comparable to the price but really really REALLY not worth the hassle. Go somewhere else for your furniture.
The sales staff here are both friendly and highly knowledgeable, making the shopping experience comfortable and enjoyable. They give you plenty of space to browse at your own pace but are always ready to assist with any questions or offer recommendations when needed. The store itself is large, well-lit, and thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for. The spacious aisles and organized displays create a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to take your time exploring.
