I am so happy with my tattoo and the whole experience was positive. Miki is so good at explaining the process and her instructions and thoughtfulness about the experience is so organized and alleviates any anxiety. I would highly recommend working with her as an artist.
Miki made my first tattoo experience so simple, seamless and relaxing! She is so very talented and really knows this artform inside and out. She offers her advice graciously, always making sure you are comfortable with the design and process. She is very open to your ideas and visions, but will also let you know limitations of the medium/alterations to make the design perfect for your body and feasible for her. Her studio is so quiet and meditative. My anxiety about my first tattoo faded away. Im so happy I found Miki for this experience - I will definitely be back for more :) Thanks so much, Miki!
I had an excellent experience with Miki from start to finish. Her studio is extremely comfortable, clean, professional, and private — it immediately puts you at ease and feels very intentional. From our first conversations, it was clear that Miki is incredibly skilled at taking ideas and helping evolve them into fully formed, meaningful concepts. She has a rare ability to guide you toward strong decisions without ever pushing her own agenda — she truly believes that each tattoo is deeply personal to the wearer, and that respect comes through in how she works. Miki is highly talented artistically and conceptually, and especially skilled in fine-line, single-needle, and narrative tattoos. The level of thought and detail she puts into her work is exceptional. What impressed me most is how closely the final tattoo matched both the mockup she provided and the stencil placed on my body — the execution was precise and true to the original vision. If you’re looking for an artist who combines technical skill, creativity, attention to detail, and genuine respect for the meaning behind your tattoo, I highly recommend Miki.
Miki is remarkably talented! This was my first ever tattoo and I wanted a custom design. She was so patient from the outset, taking my verbal descriptions of what I hoped for, along with various visuals that I could find online. She was able to design a perfect tattoo, reflecting exactly what I hoped for. It turned out better than expected. Her demeanor is quiet, efficient, and calm. Miki is amazing! I got a fine line tattoo and couldn’t be happier with how clean and precise her work is. My partner got a more detailed piece, and she absolutely nailed that style too. We really appreciated how easy she was to talk to, I wasn’t totally sure about my design at first, but she helped refine the idea and made sure it felt right before starting. We were moving away from BC and wanted something meaningful to remember our time here, and Miki made that happen perfectly. Both of us are super happy with our tattoos and the whole experience.
