My wife went out to start her car this morning and it wouldn't start. Called Vandervert and they were great on the phone and said I could drop it off and they would work it in this week. I was luckily able to get it to the shop after a jump. Matt was awesome and tested the battery for us and it did turn out to be the battery. Tested the alternator just to be sure and it was fine. Got us in right away and the battery was done in minutes. Definitely will be back for anything else we need done.
Very pleased with the service and integrity of this place, they gave me their opinion on some things that I wanted looked at and they said it would be a bit more than what the car was worth but I'm happy they gave me that option. They gave me their honest opinion about a few things and didn't charge for it. That makes me trust them that much more. They didn't make up some excuse to do the work. That I appreciate the most. They definitely have my business. Thank you for doing great work.

We're very happy with Vandervert Automotive. They worked on our Dodge 2500 brakes and A/C. The previous mechanic glanced at the brakes from the rim holes and determined they were fine. Not really because the brake pads had actually shattered in pieces. We had the A/C serviced at that same shop I won't mention. They charged us $164 with a bill that said in fine print that they're not responsible for leaks. It all leaked out the first week. Vandervert put in the extra effort, found the leak and replaced the necessary parts. They fixed our 2003 Subaru brakes, tie rods and struts and now it drives as tight as a new car. We have a Chrysler hardtop convertible that drove down the road like a tin can which made for a miserable drive. They went the extra mile, located the problems and fixed each. Now it's an enjoyable ride. Vandervert's office is informative, the mechanics do a great job and the owner is a good guy. We need more companies like this one.
