I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with Vanguard. A major ceiling light in the living/dining area has been broken for over a month, and despite repeated promises that the repair had been approved and scheduled, no action was taken. The property manager, Jody, repeatedly assured me it was arranged. But when the handyman finally came, he said he was never told about the issue. I followed up again, only to be abruptly hung up on twice mid-conversation by Jody, who then told me I should just fix the light myself—despite it being a ceiling fixture that clearly requires tools and safety equipment. This is not the level of service or professionalism I expected from an agency like Vanguard. Communication has been poor, and accountability has been completely lacking. The situation caused unnecessary stress and serious inconvenience. I hope the company reflects on this and ensures tenants are treated with proper care and respect.
Nikita at Vanguarde is an absolute legend. He helped us secure the perfect property faster than we could imagine. He's friendly, easy to deal with, with positive vibes all the way through. He made a stressful process feel like a breeze. He's someone who gets the job done with professionalism and a great attitude. We're very happy.
I rented through Vanguarde for 8 years, and while the initial period wasn’t amazing with several property managers changing over in quick succession and some missed things here and there, the period since COVID has been excellent since Ryan started as our property manager. I was extremely satisfied with my experience working with Vanguarde. In particular, Ryan handled everything more proactively than even the tenant myselves.
