I love this store so much!!! This block of royal is actually my favorite block to shop in the French quarter. Go here to find beautiful vintage slips and dresses, varsity jackets, tshirts, and military jackets. They also have one of a kind artist wares and great trinkets! Perfect if you are looking for a special souvenir or gift! The people who work here and own the shop are also so kind and welcoming! I must if you are shopping local in New Orleans!
This Gem in the quarter always has a masterfully curated collection of vintage clothing, memorabilia, and art that feel very New Orleans. This isn’t another junk shop- here you can easily lose track on time finding little treasures every time you stop by- with prices that make it easy to build your own collection. The owners are often in shop- so make sure to chat them up! They are fixtures of the community who have their fingers on the pulse of the city. Some of my favorite treasures I could leave without included a brass lighter from the 20’s that I use daily, an awesome belt buckle (pictured), a hand-painted ornament for our Christmas tree, and a collection of vintage Frank Frazetta trading cards. Looking forward to my next visit!
Love this spot! Such a cool store with the best finds. I've gotten some really neat books, art and trinkets here over the years. We also love their other shop, Swamp Rags, where we've picked up some of the coolest vintage clothes and collectibles. These places are a must-visit for us when we're in town! The owners, Chris and Megan, are great folks who work hard to make their city the best it can be. We always feel so welcome and safe when we come into V&G or Swamp Rags. Thanks for all you do, Olsens!
New Orleans absolute gem! Such a great mix of modern and vintage clothing. As well as bags, art, trinkets and unique gifts. This is a local shop with heart, always championing for their neighbors and quick to recommend a good restaurant while you’re in the neighborhood. It’s definitely my first and favorite shop to visit any time I’m in the quarter.
I can’t say enough about this business and the owners. They are doing amazing things to keep local vintage New Orleans alive as well as bringing vendors together. Their love for not only all things vintage but for the city of New Orleans, its history, and its community shine through. They are some of the most genuine people we have had the pleasure to meet. Also, they are my very first stop every time I’m back in town because I know they will always have amazing and unique finds! Y’all are awesome - keep doing what you’re doing and inspiring us to keep on the path that we are on with our own business!
