Alayana helped me put together two outfits for two special occasions. She takes her time and helps you find something that works for you. She has eyes for really special dresses and clothes. If you need a formal dress, you should definitely check her place out!
Sweetest owner and if you stop in you may get the pleasure of meeting Rooster, the sweetest, gentle pup. REAL vintage. A lot of vintage stores carry clothing from the past but as a millennial it was nostalgic and very exciting to find 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s clothing which is what I think of as vintage. What an amazing collection of dresses and even baby clothes. I highly recommend stopping in.
Alayna is the absolute best shop owner, creative, sounding-board, human, etc. I've worked with her several times on photoshoot collaborations and her style and wisdom is unmatched. Her shop is curated beautifully and she puts so much heart into what she does. If you're ever in Millvale, it would be a mistake not to stop at Vintage 416
I have been thrifting for a very long time but have only recently dipped my toes in the waters of vintage in the past 2 years. I have tried a couple shops across the country, and this was really the best. The pieces are carefully curated (and sometimes revived) by Alayna, who is really knowledgeable about fashion history. It was exactly what I was looking for in a vintage store - her style choices are timeless and fashionable, but avoid trendy/fast fashion. She had a great mix of decades, styles, and sizes. She was also very patient and gracious when I came into the store within an hour of closing and tried on a bunch of pieces (there were just so many great ones!). I ended up buying three beautiful dresses and will definitely be a repeat customer (either in store or through the website)! Can't forget about the welcoming committee/personal shopper, Louie. He made some excellent choices for me. :-)
Vintage 416 offers a great selection of vintage clothes and accessories, as well as some handcrafted items (candles, lip balm, bath bombs). The pricing is great ($80 for a beautiful, 1930s velvet dress -- amazing!). The owner is a delight, and her dog is is the perfect store assistant!
