I have had the pleasure of working with both Merlyn and Vanessa. I value their suggestions because they are competent in their work. Most importantly, they show good customer service by listening to my alteration needs. In addition, they always complete the work promptly. I really aapreciate that! I give Vintage Tailors a positive shout-out!

I’m very pleased how incredible the alterations came out! I have been coming here for a few years now. And I just knew they were the perfect option for my daughter’s quince dress! Many thanks and blessings! 💙💙🙌🏻

Very disappointed in the final outcome. Took the dress in 3 months before the event to allow plenty of time for alterations on an off-the-shoulder gown. Based on reviews, I trusted they knew what they were doing, but the after the first fitting appointment, I should have paid for the work done to that point and taken the dress somewhere else. Rather than fitting the upper bodice, they made the dress very tight at the waist to keep it in place. The entire top of the dress stood away from my body all the way around. When I mentioned it, I was told that is how the dress is supposed to fit. Thankfully, I had the dress photo for the designer’s website to show that the dress indeed touches the body. When I left there were several requests for correcting the fit as well as hemming the dress. At the second fitting, the only thing that had been done was the hem, and none of the fitting requests had been addressed. On the third trip, they had somewhat corrected the fitting issues at the top. At this point, I paid for the services and took the dress. I just took the dress out of the bag to take care of a simple issue they did not fix and found how horribly uneven the hem is. I will now have the needed alterations and repairs done by someone else.

I absolutely love the work Vanessa did on my dress! It was exactly an easy task I feel like as I was mesh like material covered in sequins. She took in the sides, the length, straps, and because of how the zipper was attached, she had a "tail" to fix. $233 later, I had a dress that was 2-3 sizes too big fit me like a glove! I will return to her in a heartbeat with the next clothing item I need done. Altogether, this took her three weeks to get done for me, even though she knew I didn't need it until mid-August, so she could have been one of those people to drag their feet until the last minute (and yes, I've dealt with that type before). You will be happy with the outcome she gives you and multiple fittings. I was completely satisfied after two! Thank you Vanessa for this amazing dress for our 10 year wedding anniversary photoshoot!

After thorough research of reviews for different tailors, I decided to go with Vintage Tailors. When I took my wedding dress to Vintage Tailors, it was not wearable. It was way too big. I also wanted to add a blusher to my veil. The ladies at Vintage Tailor were upfront about pricing (no surprises), were very efficient, and very professional. I ended up having to go about 5 or 6 times because I kept requesting more alterations (lowering the back on my dress, adding buttons, reworking the blusher of the veil, etc.). They were extremely accommodating. I assumed I would be charged extra for the additional alterations, but when I asked, they told me not to worry about it! I live 30 minutes away from Vintage Tailor (without traffic). While I dreaded the drive, I was so grateful for the result of my dress and veil. The dress fit like a glove and the veil was perfect! The bustle held up well through my first dance (which included a lift and many twirls). I changed dresses afterwards for comfort, not because anything was wrong with the dress. I would definitely recommend Vintage Tailor for bridal alterations! 10/10 :)
