Buyer beware and get EVERY detail IN WRITING. I had a gown that needed the cuffs altered. She told me "You don't want a seam; I have to remove the cuff from the sleeve" So she charged $95 for this. $110 for hemming and I didn't realize 2 weeks was considered a "rush" $50. I was good with that, but when I picked up the gown, the cuffs had seams. I went back and spoke to her telling her that I knew she didn't want to do all those buttons so if she took $50 off, I would be "okay/not happy" with it. She did but still the charge of $45 to put 2 4-inch seams is excessive. The hem was fine. Hence the "average" (I do not consider average to be negative) review. Oh, and she told me she didn't remember telling me that about the cuffs... I am not a seamstress; how would I know what work that would have taken other than her telling me? **added** Given your stance on other's comments, I knew you'd come here to make another excuse. I did NOT misunderstand, and you very well know this! You were being lazy given you told me the cuff job would take 2 hours, if that was so, then why in the world you didn't do it in the 2 weeks you had the dress? YOU told me that the cuff had to come completely off the sleeve since we shouldn't put a seam in it... it would make it ugly. YOUR WORDS! I call that "selective amnesia" Have a good day! I will never recommend your business, not because of the work or cost... but YOUR attitude! I won't even discuss how rude you were to the other employer in front of me yesterday!

I was in love with my wedding dress, and even more after my alterations were done! V was so kind and understanding to my needs. When I had my fittings she would explain every detail of the alteration process. When I picked up my dress and tried it on, I felt so beautiful with the perfect fit. She also made me a custom bolero jacket for my dress that would cover my arms for the church service. I could not find one that I liked anywhere online and she made me such a beautiful jacket. I felt like a princess on my wedding day! I received so many compliments on my dress and how it fit. Thank you so much V for making my dress a work of art! I highly recommend V's!!!

V's Alterations did an amazing job altering my dress. They also did one of the most beautiful bustles I have ever seen. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I dropped my dress off in May but when I went in for my first fitting after the first round of alterations noting had been done. They explained that one of the girls that was helping mixed up the order slip or something along those lines. I can say though, that we scheduled my next fitting for a month later and it was done. Thank you V's for the beautiful alterations!

They altered my graduation dress and did an amazing job! They brought in the waist, replaced the buttons (found the perfect buttons then sent me pictures to choose), and added clasps to cover my cleavage. When I went to pick the dress up the cleavage was still out a little more than I would’ve liked and they changed the clasps 4 times to make sure it was perfect without adding an extra fee. They did all of this within a week in a half because I brought it in for alterations later than I should’ve. I would definitely recommend them. They are very kind and make you feel confident. Only $65 for the sewing and $25 for the 4 buttons and 3 clasps with it being rushed, pretty reasonable prices. (Before, during, and after pics)

V’s alterations did the alterations on my wedding dress and on my husband’s suit. She did absolutely amazing work. I loved my dress from the beginning but after she took in the sides, shortened the shoulder straps, added cups and a bustle, and hemmed the dress I just ADORED it and was so proud to wear it on my wedding day. The quality of work that she does is top rate and I can’t recommend them enough. She got both my dress and my husband’s suit done quickly as our wedding was planned on short notice. Thank you V’s alterations!!
